The women claim they had both protected and unprotected sex with Sheen, as recently as last month, and he did not disclose his HIV status.

A source directly connected with Sheen says in the last 2 years, Sheen has had at least 200 partners, so the number of women who either will sue or plan to sue will almost certainly grow exponentially.

I think Charlie Sheen and his father might have a very complex relationship. Martin Sheen has said in the past that out of all his children Charlie is the one most like him. Martin Sheen sorted his life out but in the 70's he was pretty heavy into drugs and alcohol (I think).

He had a heart attack during the filming of Apocalypse Now that was supposedly brought on by the stress of filming and his drinking. By all accounts Apocalypse Now was a hellish experience for all involved and Sheen's family was with him for a lot of that time in the Philippines. I think Charlie would have been about 11 or 12 years old at the time, a pretty impressionable age.

I remember reading how their childhood (Emilio and Charlie) wasn't that great and I think there was some suggestion that Martin Sheen, during that time period, was possibly violent.

Not that any of that is an excuse just that I think the relationship between them might be at the heart of some of his issues (as it is with most people). They seem like they've been fuel to each others fires... although the same could be said of most parent/child relationships.

^ But yeah I do agree with you in your earlier post... it must be very hard to see especially if you've been an addict yourself.

In the years since his addiction Martin Sheen has dedicated himself of a variety of causes, it must be particularly painful not to be able to help your son when you've been able to help others.

Brave or NOT brave, NO ONE should be force to disclose their PHI - personal health information...NO ONE! The only people he owned any information to were those he was engaging in intimate relations with, no one else....Also, the onus was on his Partners to Ask/Request this information. (also, if some of these people are saying they 'weren't told', it's his word against theirs - only they know for sure)...

If we were talking about any other celeb being blackmailed about their PHI and as a result having to disclose sensitive PHI (ie, mental illness, the amount of abortions they've had, drug history/addictions) people would be in an uproar here.

I think she just has to pretend she had no idea to avoid a backlash against her for keeping it a secret. I don't think it would have been her business to tell anyhow but there would be plenty of "she endangered other women" talk if she admitted she knew.

There are lots and lots of women in the world who will take any risk to be with a man with even some fame. Fame + $$?? I'm sure he had lines of women waiting.

I guess plenty of women are not proud enough to not prostitute themselves. Having sex with Sheen makes me itchy just thinking about it.

Seems brave is the "it" word for any and everything lately .English language is gone to crap. How is what he did brave?
