I think it's refreshing that he has kept his integrity and pulled out of something because it didn't feel right, rather than doing it for the $$$ and sacrificing his ideals.

Which begs the question... why did he even accept in the first place?

His SOA schedule had to be known in advance, the story is average (at best), the production team isn't anything to write home about and the pressure that comes with such a high profile project had to have been anticipated before accepting the role.

Who was the turnip who persuaded him the first time round?



P.S. So relieved he's out of this movie.

No idea, maybe he was talked into it, maybe it was sold to him well, maybe just bad judgement on his part, but I am glad he pulled out.
