Yes, they have the same agent. But Charlie is the one who's been longer with him. I think something like 12 years. Charlie's really loyal and told a cute story about his agent and him in one interview. He's the reason why he switched from WME to CAA. He wanted to keep him.

I thought so, I remember reading a short article way back about his agent specialising in masculine roles in the vein of Steve McQueen (the movie star) for his clients. They had listed SOA and one of Fassbender's projects (I think it was Jonah Hex before it was released) as projects spearheaded by his agent.

Considering Fassbender has done some quite risqué films that have been quite significant for Fassbender's career perhaps his agent thought 50 shades of grey had the potential to be something like that and presented it to Hunnam with that spin.

Not that it matters anymore... thank g*d!

I do not watch SoA. I watched the first two seasons and wasn't really enthralled with the show but I always enjoyed Hunnam. The character is a little too the brooding type but you can easily see his talent imho.

I am not pro or anti 50 Shades but find the story a bit cheesy and poor quality and I think it is really cool for him to walk away from something poised to be such a blockbuster smash. I think it's refreshing to see someone be picky about their next move.

I saw Pacific Rim with him last night and his voice is amazing and he's just very easy to watch on screen. I hope he has a long, rich career ahead of him with projects he is passionate about.

It's unique to be in that position but anyone who hustles to make sure that's what happens to their career I respect.

I agree....

I feel so sorry for Charlie. His dad died in May which is of course heartbreaking. Add the attention and pressure of this crap movie to it and you get why he dropped out of it. I think he's really strong for pulling through an entire season of SoA with a brave face on. He now goes back to England to see his family.

I was sad to hear that. Hopefully, it wasn't something sudden and he was able to see him before he passed. Dealing with the Fifty crap on top of his dad's death must be stressful.

I just recently saw a pic of his dad for the first time. He took him to Comic Con one year. Sweet old man. Really looked like those gangsters from the 70s.

His father passed!? Poor Charlie :( I know he was really close to his dad and was writing a screenplay or something about his life. Ugh sad.
