Ah Ari, yes then there is the issue of the height of the boot with the coat and the dress or skirt. It all gives me a headache. I keep an extra coat in the back of my car in case I break down by the side of the road. Seriously [emoji23]

Tricky! I keep half of my shoes and a coat or 2 and an extra bag in the trunk. Never know if I go somewhere I could use them.[emoji23]

I saw this today, it was almost down to my feet (5' 5.5"), it's really long.

I love the Ritz skirt, I have both the black and the cream. They are to me the perfect classic pencil skirts, simple but with just the right amount of beautiful detailing. The cut is more fitted than the Robot, which is also a favourite (and looking to add).

What a cute dress. My boutique is slow in receiving the items.

I was just discussing this with another member here (fit of ritz skirt vs robot skirt), I think I may size up for the ritz skirt. The robot is pretty generous in the hips and leg but I plan to let out the waist a little for comfort.

@pigleto972001 in relation to the rest of me. True.

I tried the black wool dress with the belt but I think I need a smaller size (and also wear the correct under garment ahem). It was too long and rather shapeless on me. Another lady was trying the same size and she fills up the dress beautifully.

I thought the aqua cashmere dress with the pearl is really cute. The colour is so fresh. Something to consider if it makes sales. Just not enough wear at full price.

The black looks great on you, I hope you get the chance to try your size.

Thinking of wearing this outfit to high tea next weekend. Just wondering which necklace - Cartier legere, Hermes farandole, or Chanel pearls? I think the white pearls might be too much... DH would definitely think this whole outfit is too much. [emoji13]
Also have to watch what I eat this week, I put on two pounds since I bought this and it's tight at the waist! [emoji13]

Thank you for the very kind comments on the black dress. I hope to be able to try a smaller size (currently unavailable) or perhaps even the burgundy version. I would love to see more photos of this dress so please share yours. My SA commented the dress is a good deal as most CC belt alone is close to a third of the price.

I love that color !!!! I don't think they got it in the US sadly. And I love it in the sweater

I think the aqua sweater is available in the US (either the boutique or the dept store). This IG-er posted hers and I believe she is based in LA?

Hope to be twins with you on the Ritz and Robot skirts!

I would like to see something long. Why are pearls too much? It's a tea and I always think of pearls at a tea

ailoveresale I like the dress ! I don't think the pearls would be too much but maybe some contrast w the hermes or Cartier would be good instead :)

Ms piggy thanks for the info. I did ask a chanel SA and she said
Black, green, coral, blue, yellow. Maybe the green is the aqua :)

I ordered a wolford bodysuit to try w my ritz skirt. I will think about the robot. I liked how it looked w tanker toads bodysuit. If this works out I'll try the turtleneck. I have a thing for turtlenecks haha.

Agree this needs something long and I like the Farandole for a softer touch so the details of the dress can stand out. I have this dress in black and I agree the waistline is not forgiving.

I like the idea of the Farandlole, and was thinking that if you had a long necklace with some color, that might be nice to try as well since you are pretty neutral at this point with the bag and shoe.

Edit: Whoops, just saw the great buttons at the shoulder like on our white jacket. Stick with the pearls. There is a bit of gold in the button so I don't know how that would look with the Farandole.

Pretty! How about earrings instead? Since dress has details on the shoulder and sleeve already.

This dress looks fantastic in you! It was too long in the torso for me, which made the zipper stick out awkwardly on my back. I was so bummed it didn't fit right on me! I like tone on tone, so pearls would be nice.

The wolford turtleneck bodysuit ?
They even make a turtleneck sleeveless bodysuit [emoji6]

You look amazing! My vote is for earrings - but honestly all your options will work - each just a different look-
Love high tea [emoji477]️

I was thinking too much chanel - although is there such a thing? [emoji12]

Yes I was thinking of changing it up. Or maybe even going without a necklace...
The robot skirt is great! I think it's a really nice piece.

Agree this needs something long and I like the Farandole for a softer touch so the details of the dress can stand out. I have this dress in black and I agree the waistline is not forgiving.

I had to size down or else the blouse part was billowing too much. But the waist is definitely snug!

Yes there's gold on the button and in the shoes, but my Birkin and clic clay are palladium and pearls silver... [emoji848]. I think it's fine to mix metals though.

I was thinking that - if only I had my ears pierced! I have one pair of heirloom clip ons that might work...

I did struggle with accessories for my black dress due to the buttons on the shoulders. I wore a pair of earrings in the end but I might try a simple long necklace next time.

That's why I was thinking of the Cartier, it's very thin and subtle... I remember you in the black, looks great on you! I think we have the same taste in dresses and knits. [emoji6]

Thank you! That's too bad it didn't work out for you - that's what was going on when I did my usual size, and the issue seemed to even out when I went down a size. But now I have to watch what I eat!!

Thank you! I was also debating stacking more on the wrist and going without a necklace.

Will let you know how the final outfit works out. Thanks everyone for the input!
