Congrats! these blouses are fantastic, I think Chanel does less and less of them, they come in different colors, pale green and this light turquoise that I got to go with my jacket. They run big.

I love the dress on you, you can wear in different ways!
Is the jacket a bit big on you, or you like it this way? For me I find that cropped jackets look best with wide pants or flared skirts. Try different styles to see what suits you best! I tried it with these jeans, but I’m still wondering if they are a bit small on me.

Yes, the blouse is over-sized. Normally I wear Chanel jacket size 48-50 but I can wear these blouses at size 38!!!!

Yes I went up a size for the jacket because I worried it would be too short, but now sleeve is a bit long…I also tried flared dress but don’t think my dress is flared at the right location to work with the jacket. The style works best for me now is how you styled it, with cropped / tugged in top and pants. Still exploring

The jacket is really lovely! Beautiful color! I agree about wearing a short jacket with a flared/wide pant. I think it would look better if you wore a longer pant. The cropped jean looks too short for a short jacket.

I agree, but I have short torso and loved the color combo. My husband didn’t like it with these pants also.
Do blouses with collars bother you under jackets? I normally wear collarless tops under my Chanel jackets but I’m considering this MDA blouse!
Yes, generally I don’t like collars with Chanel jackets, but this blouse is so soft the collar doesn’t show much.

Perfect! Thank you, Ari x
Agree with @ari re soft collars under Chanel jackets (I like Charvet pret silk ; also they are cheaper than H or Chanel silk and more under the radar 😂. First pic is H silk. Others are Charvet. I wore Chanel jackets with these outfits

ETA: but a men’s hoodie poplin shirt (Hermes) is also soft enough to work ;)

Hi everyone! Need some counselling. I have been working on revamping my wardrobe really over the past year. I have mostly been focusing on neutrals and good fabrics, have been buying Brunello (mostly on sale wheeew) and am leaning towards tans, creams, whites and blacks mostly.

The Chanel part of my wardrobe is mostly made up of tweed jackets. I have some black, navy, cream and brown. There is this one jacket that's lilac. Really pretty but I haven't worn it since I bought it on sale a couple of years ago. The fit is good, its just the color. I am looking for an ear and some counselling- do I sell the lilac and just stick to neutrals? Thoughts? Opinions? Would love to hear what you think. The jacket was on sale but not cheap and I would be selling at a big loss (which is normal for clothing so I get it). Thank you for your thoughts and opinions!

As a die hard neutrals fan myself, I understand gravitating toward mostly a neutral "forever classic" type of wardrobe. However, it really is wonderful to have a few pops of color sprinkled in now and again. It keeps things fresh and lively. Perhaps try pairing it in the summer with some white pants/jeans and in cooler months it might look lovely with earth tones or certain shades of gray. It's kind of nice to break up a monochromatic neutral look now and again. If there is no real need to get rid of the jacket, try incorporating it into your wardrobe over the next few months and see how it feels. If it just doesn't feel like you after a trial period, then you will know with more certainty that you are ready to move on from it. Good luck! I am kind of hoping you fall in love with it! :)

If I’ve not worn something for 2 years, I sell it. If you’re not reaching for it, it’s not for you and it’s taking up valuable wardrobe space!
Just my opinion!
