Picked up my jeans from Coco Neige! I also picked up my jacket but didn't take a picture of it so here's the jacket with pins in it. The tailor did a great job on both, the shoulders came out perfectly. Up close, the jacket has a bit of silver shimmer.

It is from Fall 1998 They weren’t quite so fancy back then to give the collections names, or I don’t remember. Lol!

Thank you @skybluesky and thanks to all who enjoyed my post. TBH, I had not worn it in a very long time. Brown has been on the back burner in fashion and is currently doing rediscovered. I’m happy to pull all the brown bags, shoes and clothing out of the “vault.” Shopping in my closet fits in with sustainable fashion lol!

I have been collecting vintage brooches for a long time. They are a fun and inexpensive way to have fun with your clothing.

He's not the right fit for Chanel. Just my humble opinion.

Well, if you look at his work around 2005-2007, at MJ and LV, he can certainly do the job.
Imho the concern is whether he has passed his prime.
In addition, Karl developed a "I don't give a xxxx" mentality over time. I'm under the impression that MJ is not like that. Anyone who cannot say no to the suits can't take Chanel to the next level.

Welp if Lena has any pull I am sure she will pick someone based on their past numbers, not the creative genius. I assume they will also want someone easy to work with who does not push back much. Probably someone very hungry for the chance to be selected.

Did anyone reserve/pre order anything from the Cruise collection? I am one of those people that needs to see how something moves/hangs/fits in real life and in real lighting. The cotton lace dresses are beautiful, but I don't think I would get that much cost per wear from them. Turquoise sweater is beautiful but the built-in belt would just emphasize my mid-section.

That is so cute! You could use it as a bodysuit? Or for lounging around the pool but not getting it wet?
