Hi, I was wondering if anyone has ever come across an identical chanel jacket having two slightly different style labels? (Jacket in question is cruise 2013). Labels seem to be consistent on several pre loved online but one in particular has a very very slightly different print and one letter not in a capital as per others, though is from a reputable seller. Not asking for authentication or authentication tips as I’m quite thorough (as above!) Just seems a little odd so thought would see if anyone has come across similar?

Love it all!
Thank you Periogirl! First time wearing a

CULOTTE SKIRT😂😂

Love it. How tall are you? You look amazing in every piece like a model.
Thank you Chanellover ! Too kind of you. I’m 174 cm
This is the look that really stood out to me in the show and you wear it perfectly! I can’t pull off the yellow, so I got the CAMÉLIA as a memento:smile:
Zixi, thank you ! I loved this collection!
Wow, so stunning
Thank you Joke !

What a small world!! Our beautiful @ari and talking head CNBC Andrea Mitchell have the jacket and matching dress from Fall 2023. I have just the jacket. Don't we all have great taste?

Love these pics. Congrats @gracekelly on your jacket

I tried on a long Chanel tiered skirt (left) that I loved. But I decided it was a bit less versatile than an Hermes one (posted in H RTW thread, here: https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/hermes-rtw.920133/page-342
Both skirts are about the same price (and my Chanel SA who is my style icon also preferred the H skirt in this particular case

Hi all! Any input/insight would be GREATLY appreciated! I’ve been keeping an eye out for black pants and my SA has these 3 pairs for me to try. I want a nice pair that I can wear with anything but especially with my tweed jackets. Has anyone tried these on? The style of the silk pair is cute but the material seems too formal to me. I like the straight cut of the wool braid pair and the ribbed look makes them interesting but would that ribbed texture be too busy with tweed? The tweed pair, I’m not sure I can pull off the cropped flare look but also, will a non matching tweed jacket and pant look strange? I’m so indecisive because I’m out of my element since jeans are my staple. I love my Chanel denim but I feel like I should branch out. Help! IMG_4106.jpegIMG_4103.pngIMG_4102.png

💯 agree. IMO only, if your boucle is cool toned black/ navy; verging on day to evening transitional; or high contrast, primarily solid, color block (like pink), these black picks could work nicely. I might wear black pants with black boucle jackets or metallic or fantasy tweed (here with Hermes brushed cotton cargos) or Chanel metallic or dark denim. Or, with Dior tulle or silk/velvet. But these have a dramatic or evening feel

For a regular boucle jacket for daytime, I would personally pick a more sartorial trouser (personal style preference only). I’m short, and brunello Cuchinelli trousers suit my build and work with my Chanel tweed boucle jackets. Flat finish fabric, medium weight to contrast with the heavier boucles, and of a more substantial weight than silk. Usually classic length, not cropped. Here: tobacco colored twill; cashmere chalk stripe; classic charcoal .

If I wear a silk pair of pants or techno cargo with boucle for daytime, they also tend to be more sartorial day (but that’s bc the Chanel boucle jackets or tops I pick are usually that type. If I pick a draped Chanel trouser, I find a classic Chanel boucle too elegant (not my style) so I mix up pattern or designer (plaid boucle with Dior houndstooth or leopard Dior with Chanel trouser or metallic Chanel with Dior charcoal leopard)

ETA: the trousers you picked, for day, could easily pair with a higher fashion, flatter finish top, like Dior houndstooth. Of course, these style choices are very individual so YMMV :) It’s fun to experiment

Forgot to add, when you go to try it on, wear your favorite Chanel boucle with jeans as per normal, and simply substitute each pair of pants. Take a full length selfie with each one from head to shoes (same angle, position, distance from the mirror or the best comparison). And, also heed your trusted SAs advice :) You might also ask your SA to pull a different jacket silhouette to try (if your favorite is long, but you have short ones too, then ask for short; if you are bringing fitted, then ask for full, etc. that will give you the most range. All this may be obvious, but I thought I’d mention it lol.

Have fun :)
