24K is slowly trickling in, but my store is pretty small and is only seeing knits and basics... did anyone have a chance to try this ? It's just $6.7k which is pretty affordable in comparison to the other jackets.

Did you end up finding this? I saw it at my store recently but did not try it on. IMO it seems pretty good quality but I think the length is awkward for me (I am short with a long torso and short legs).

Kind of. My store did get one in some time back, but it was a size larger than my usual. I did try it on and it was big enough that I feel you could get away with sizing down from your current size. It is longer than others for sure (including the sleeves), but not too bad.

My FA is working on transferring my size, so I'll get photos if my transfer gets approved, fingers crossed.

It's such a good jacket! Did it have any metallic thread in it? I feel like it's hard to find a Chanel jacket without metallic/shimmering thread and sequins in it now (not that I'm an expert), which was why I liked this jacket. Great classic staple.

Don’t be afraid of metallic threads. They make the tweed more special. Don’t think that metallic threads means it is only for evening. You can always dress down even a dressy jacket. I haven’t had a real problem with sequins in Lesage. They don’t drop off or break. That is more common in less expensive fabrics.

Is Lesage their main source? What are Chanel’ other other suppliers? Pertaining specifically to tweed I mean

Thank you! That is reassuring to hear. I am eyeing the black tweed jacket in the Spring/Summer collection and it looks like it's got sequins and metallic thread.

I recall it didn't, but there was a slight sheen, it was actually more like the tweed you would see in menswear especially with the crosshatching pattern. Very versatile. Also forgot to mention....There's no buttons on the cuffs, so it's easier to tailor on that front.

Christine Lagarde looking utterly elegant in C - from the Versailles collection.

I listen to the video but my eyes are laser-focused on the jacket: how the Lesage tweed drapes and flows with her movements

And this one, from Paris-Egypt:

I would LOVE to see more content like this: professional women like Christine doing cool jobs while wearing Chanel! **waiting patiently for another TPFer to share an existing link…***

Did anyone reserve/pre order anything from the Cruise collection? I am one of those people that needs to see how something moves/hangs/fits in real life and in real lighting. The cotton lace dresses are beautiful, but I don't think I would get that much cost per wear from them. Turquoise sweater is beautiful but the built-in belt would just emphasize my mid-section.
