Hi chanel lovers,
So I got the chance to pop in store today, and saw this cashmere cardigan/jacket. What do you all think about this? It was so soft and looks pretty wearable with the climate I live. Price is over little over 5k. They didn’t have my size to try on but anyone knows If it runs big?
TIA!

Need everyone's advice here on Chanel t-shirts. I've pretty much avoided them because I thought I could do with something that would work but would be less expensive and so far have been successful. I also fear ruining them (kind of like white cotton shirts). But now I'm contemplating the black dove one from cruise.
Do you buy Chanel t-shirts and even with the current price increases? Other brands? Hermes? Dior? Do you buy KL graphic t-shirts? I have no judgement on what you choose to do---would just like your thoughts! Thank you in advance!
Dior or wolford are my go to t shirts. I do not want to spend on a chanel t, but that’s JMO :)

judging from this photo, I believe you can…

Jacket looks kind of tight on her with the buttons closed so perhaps the open at bottom look may have been better suited. I think that would be an issue for anyone with a figure that is not lean straight up and down as it doesn't flare out to accomodate the hips. Its a particular cut for a particular body shape I think

I’ve never bought a Chanel t shirt - largely because I’m not a T shirt person and because the jackets/ cardigans are often statement pieces so don’t need a fussy t shirt. I saw this one recently though which I liked and was pleasantly surprised that the fabric was really good quality (heavy) and with the price would last very well.3958BD89-53D7-443F-92DC-50B9D0DE9EF9.jpeg

I haven’t come across a chanel t shirt that was flattering enough on me that made me want to buy it. They were either too cropped, too boxy or had ill fitting sleeves. Oh actually, I take that back. There was that one shirt from 21p that just had the big cc logo with glittery confetti details all around it and came in black or white that actually fit nicely. It also came in a sweatshirt and long dress. I only have a pic of the tag but you can kind of see the design. 759046F5-B1CC-491B-B470-AAC2BF5997B1.jpeg
I do think the black dove t is pretty cute but the sleeves look off to me. They look too long/big in proportion to the shirt which looks short but they can probably be altered. The Karl t’s are cute and very comfy. I just buy simple t’s from wherever i can find as long as they’re not see through and fit the way I want.

I received my dove cardigan but it’s going back. I didn’t like the fit so I didn’t even bother taking a pic, plus I found it scratchy. The buttons were a disappointment too.EF17F844-402D-4748-A1B1-F6EF4627E52C.jpeg
Maybe she was going for a distressed shabby chic effect but the painted over button just seems cheap to me. I was able to try @kipp ’s beautiful jacket but it was too small (34)and also @911snowball ’s pink jacket which was too big (38)161EB4D1-B5E4-4A9A-B90D-152940E00807.jpegD6EA1CB7-D236-4615-9BD1-571EFA98F0DE.jpeg
This is from luxe departments on Instagram. Does anyone have mod pix? I tried it on in a large size but my size is coming soon hopefully. It’s about the same price as my metiers jacket but without all the details so I’m not sure if I can justify the price. 2EAFE3D1-92F6-435C-AA41-954909A7FDE7.jpeg

I think they are designed to be unbuttoned on the bottom. We are all women, hence with hips. I'm as straight as one comes but I have defined hips and I doubt I can close it. Regardless, will try on soon enough!

@m_ichele, while you think one of the jackets is too small and other too big, I think both styles look fabulous on you.
If you loved the pink one you could always have it taken in. If you love the first one you could ask for a larger size. Good luck in finding something that works perfectly for you! <3

Sorry to hear about the dove cardi ! Their cashmere is usually smooth. Were the doves ‘ stitching itchy ? The pink jacket and the lesage both look great on you.

I remember that tee w the pink flowers in a cc! So cute.

seems like the long jacket is meant to have the waist emphasized. Interesting similar look but more subtle in the charms jacket, that cutaway.

i Sort of see the dove cardi buttons as a stone effect like the walls of the quarry.

Thanks dear @kipp for the kind words. Both were beautiful and I was grateful to have the opportunity to try both but no CHF this time. I’m actually looking for something a little longer like the pink jacket, but more neutral, like the last pic I posted. Maybe that one will spark some CHF

Thanks @pigleto972001! Not the doves but the sleeves themselves were rough. I don’t know what’s wrong with my skin, sometimes their cashmere is soft like the alien cardi but a lot of times scratchy. I tried the the black with white trim long cardi which was scratchier than the shorter white with black trim version. Both ran true to size I feel if anyone is wondering. That’s a good point about the buttons too! I can see that now that you mentioned it.

Pink looks lovely on you in relaxed style with jeans! The last one I did not try but the tweed is very nice, pretty, classic and neutral.

Everyone is always so helpful on here so I wanted to share my try on pics from Dubai. Loved so many pieces from the collection but they didn’t have my size. I hope I can snag some pieces in London this weekend.
In particular I loved the look 4 jacket (with white trim) and the white cardigan.
