Is that open work on the white cardie? Could things catch and pull it?

it is fairly open- not sure it would snag so easily. Didn’t get the sense it would when I tried it.

I didn't realize the mesh tanktop was attached to a tshirt. And thus that the dress version must be attached to the long sleeve!

I looked at this and I think they separate?

Thank you! It is the same as the charms! I think I read here that there is a black version but have not seen.

also, @De sac, in the first pic of the black jacket with the two arm chairs, there’s a light grey bomber with ruffled neck; I think that would look cute on uou too!

My bias is that the white jacket looks the best on you. The proportion is more flattering.
The last black jacket will likely be more limiting...you will probably pair with pants/leggings, for the most part, rather than skirt (unless it's super short like the runway look).

Thanks All! Really appreciate the compliments and advice. While I do like the black as an easy go-to piece my SA has also mentioned that if a colour attracts me, that could be the next step. Also try on size can skew opinion, as the black was the largest.
Going with a friend tomorrow to try items again (and she is interested in the black). Will update here

Specifically, wanted to know if this wears more like a proper jacket/blazer or closer to a lightweight 'shacket'? And any other input regarding fit/sizing would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! I bought this lovely jacket after seeing @pigleto’s try on photos- I really love this jacket ❤️
It’s true to size or slightly small (not oversized) I took 38 (but in the cropped black pink F/W 2021 jacket I took a 36)
Would never tuck this pants in as shown - the fit is flattering IMO - very comfortable with a slightly nipped waist. This was a hard to find piece as they didn’t make many- so you are lucky to have located one- here are some photos:

There is a beautiful matching bag in the same fabric but I thought it too delicate for my lifestyle
I think you could wear this any way you want
It’s not heavy
The fabric is really lovely

Aw thanks !!! The dress is super comfortable. Very stretchy. And love the pleated skirt. It was tough to turn down.

My husband appreciates the kind words ! Haha. He was really rooting for the dress !!
I did see a top in the same black and blue and also a nice sort of tealish turquoise.

Also this white and marine blue cardi was soft

Oh, no! Not all buttons are functional! It’s a bit disappointing as Chanel always took pride that all buttons and pockets were functional.

oh - thats a change. I read that Coco Chanel never used buttons without a purpose! Do you mean the buttons on the pockets or do some of the lower jacket buttons not have buttonholes?

Only the upper 3 buttons on the black are functional, only 5 on the cream one are functional, basically only the top of the jacket could be buttoned. The lower buttons are just there.

I saw the black jacket the other day and on that one, there were lower button holes stitched in but closed. I wonder if one could open them.
