They would like you to believe that. The question for me is how much resistance will there be? Is there that much money floating around that they can keep pushing up the price points? What they want for a flap bag is already unrealistic. Unless they are using great fabric, trim and buttons and tweak the style enough that it doesn't look like one of my vintage jackets, my credit card is staying in my wallet.

My cousin in law has this embroidered one ! I have the non embroidered one. I love it. It was hard to find and I had to have one sized down to a 40.

Interesting I had to size up in this jacket. It’s a lovely classic jacket and I remember and love that picture of you! It suits you so well!

I know a while ago we discussed quite high costs for the newer Chanel hand embroidered pieces. I saw this jacket with hand embroidery on the back earlier ... not sure it’s worth the £24k price tag - thoughts?
Ps I am definitely not buying this (even in sale!) but wondered on the reaction. I didnt image the front but it was pretty plain but had a nice side neck closure and jacket was a cropped style

I love it. I hope the fit will be nice. Most of the VV jackets are strange fit on me.

Yes, I understand from my SA that the prices have not stemmed the buying of RTW...to her amazement at the number of customers spending 30-40k per trip with little discernment...
Although for me after a few years of buying it does seem like there becomes a natural plateau.
