It was! Just a subtle amount of glitter. My dress style is definitely more on the casual side and the amount of glitter wasn't too much, to make the coat "too dressy". What size did you get, if you don't mind me asking? I'm normally 38 but tried the 40 and actually liked how oversized it felt (sleeves would have to be taken in but, then again, they almost always do on me

Drool! I’m so tempted to ask for the gray but I love the black also!! I still have to dress up for work, so the black will probably give me some more versatility. So I’m all over the place with Chanel sizing. Cropped coats I’m a 38 and normal length I tend to be 36. I took a 36 in this and it is still oversized without being enormous. My SA said she had been having people take a size down but I liked this. I had a decent size cashmere sweater under it. I know a while ago we discussed quite high costs for the newer Chanel hand embroidered pieces. I saw this jacket with hand embroidery on the back earlier ... not sure it’s worth the £24k price tag - thoughts?
Ps I am definitely not buying this (even in sale!) but wondered on the reaction. I didnt image the front but it was pretty plain but had a nice side neck closure and jacket was a cropped style

Agree - its not my style either as it is although without the embroidery its a lovely style of jacket
My cousin in law has this embroidered one ! I have the non embroidered one. I love it. It was hard to find and I had to have one sized down to a 40.
Sounds nice - do post photos of you wearing it if you have them. I didn't try it on as I didn't think it could come as a non embroidered version. Next time perhaps I will.

Fit was TTS for a slightly oversized fit. I normally get 38 in longer coats and took a 38 in this also. Had a decent size cashmere sweater under it and still fit nice. Price was outrageous - $7600 (ish) was over $8k with taxes. Off to ban island I go...
