I’m one of the minority who enjoyed some VV. I surmise that she was more instrumental than not in KLs designs, and she was certainly commercially successful. Am a bit dubious re MB, but curious

She did have some nice collection! I loved Métiers d'Art 2020 collection

I did purchase a few of her jackets. A couple I think were really different and unique, but in all honesty,the others are KL wannabes. At the end it was slapping a piece of braid and an interesting button on a standard tweed fabric. I have to put my last purchase in that category. I knew it when I bought, but fell in love so bought it anyway. It has been a holding pattern so far until MB show his first collection. I decided, as many of you did, to hold off until we see what he comes up with. I am pleased to hear that he is not a fan of logo/branding, but in the end the corporate suits may overrule him on that.

I skipped so many studio-designed collections.. apart from some basic staples which I’m looking to fill, cute pair of jeans, white cardigan, so black LBJ. I haven’t been collecting as long as most ladies here so I still have some room 😆 Looking forward to seeing no-logos pieces.

Thank you! It was the first cooler day this summer, we had super hot weather this year.

The best studio collection IMO was spring summer - I think there were a lot of surprises in that collection and very beautiful in real life. Off runway collections have been a bit bland but good for basics. I need everyday clothes not really fancy clothes so it’s been good for that.

That black dress is ridiculously underwhelming but Margaret is stunning in it
