Dear Gracekelly,
I’d like to confuse you more! Hahaha !
As my SA said “ jackets tucked into pants it’s the allure of this season “
I guess I’ll skip the allure of the season..
Maybe okay from the front in a photo with the right pose. Weird bulges and a fat waist irl. Personally, I’m trying to make my midsection look as slender as possible.

Ditto! OK. My editorial comment is that when I was in my 20’s we tucked pants into knee high boots. As far as I am concerned, unless you are painfully thin, tucking in a jacket is going to make you feel as if you are wearing a beer keg around your waist. Did the pants back then, not doing the jacket now. Lol!

Realistically,I want to see what shape that jacket is in at the end of the day (provided you lasted that long with it tucked in) and whether it turned into a rehab project so you would be able to wear it again. The thought of crunching my rather expensive jacket is not something I want to contemplate.

Note to Ari’s SA: Will you come and steam out the wrinkles after your fashion victim advice is followed? Just asking for a friend.

I remember the days of tucking ones pants into ones boots. I could never do it bc of big calves :( I so wish that I was slender enough where I needed to crunch and tuck my jacket into my pants. sometimes I tuck a wafer thin blouse in, but other times I try to strategically drape my top over my midsection for maximum illusion of a waist. Sometimes a bag is draped over that as. . . Camouflage  Nowadays a B35 can make one feel very slender lol. chanel cotton twin set strategically pulled down over the waistband, with brunello twill cargos, toile/leather B35; B30sgold swift

Made me feel bad for the jacket, which I recently added as I adore the tweed even though I wish the sleeves are more fitted. Regardless of the trend, this jacket is quite thick and I feel very warm on. Maybe an irrelevant point here, but the nicest thing about this jacket to play is the subtle tweed. Apparently, it seemed to be taken as a canvas background here.

When I initially looked at Ari's post, I was looking on my phone and didn't realize that it was the black jacket that I just purchased for megabucks! @ELIZAXUAN , I would NEVER TUCK in this jacket! The thought gives me tachycardia. Ari is quite right, the allure can belong to someone else.

That was well said. I initially passed this jacket for the immediate thought of Michael Jackson looking (and Rhianna's trendy way to wear it with large gold brooch seemed to relate to my initial impression). Your try on pictures shifted my mind and it started to grow in me. As I am limited to my situation not being able to try on at boutiques, my decisions are largely based on individual research and online pictures. Thank you for your try on posts as well as a few from other ladies, I realized how beautiful the tweed is and no longer resistant to the burgendy trims and relatively loosely fitted shoulders/arms.

While I am still rookie on the tweed material, I learned a lot here from the ladies and your generous share of nicely picked ones from past seasons. This tweed, as Ari shared many helpful information, is more of cotton/viscose. As a result, it's pretty thick, heavy and warm. I was fortunate to get my paws on one of the 20C white jackets. Totally fall in love with that tweed and the cut, particularly the nicely fitted shoulders and arms, as if I paid for one from haute couture.

And her two bodyguards following her complete the ensemble. Just another night at Whole Food. *sigh*

The best I have ever done is wear a Chanel to Costco, Home Depot and Ralphs/Gelsons Market. I went very low key and wore an Hermes bag with my jacket and only wore one pearl necklace. Now that I see that I can bling it up for late night marketing, in the same jacket, I will definitely give it a try. That is unless the DH catches me first and grabs my car key from me.

*Oh and I have to tuck in the jacket for the allure of the season*

They took her picture next to the toilet paper too, lol. She should have patroned a bodega, that way she could have at least been photographed by lottery tickets scratchers in Chanel and not toilette paper and Chanel. Lol, celebrities always call the paparazzi to be photographed , this is not impromptu, none of it is, is it? FE2D8259-CBD6-470B-83E6-242D152C6C72.jpeg
