Hey everyone. I got a nice deal on a cardigan secondhand because there's a small hole. I reached out to my SA, but he told me their seamstress examined it and unable to repair it. So I wanted to ask where you get your knitwear repaired if Chanel can't repair it. Based in the US.

Wow I find this rather hard to believe and disappointing as what's the point of giving us all those sample threads for knitwear in those little envelopes then.
Would your cardigan happen to have that extra thread? I am sorry I am not based in the US so I can't help with suggestions.

I heard that there was a lady around union square area in NYC who could help. If you search on Yelp, chances are there is someone available locally.

Can you post pics of the hole? Close up to see the broken weave and from further away to show scale? These may also be useful if you have to send it away for repair.

I have seen some really good repair work but don’t have any resources in the US unfortunately.

I have used French American reweaving in midtown in NYC on some cashmere sweaters before with great results. I would give them a call- if you’re not in the NYC area maybe you can ship it to them for repair.
