Chanel RTW ~ Reveals, Chit-chat & Info thread

Will you guys give me your non-Chanel clean white (non see through) tee and tank top recommendations that I can wear with my Chanel rtw? Looking for perfect white tees and tanks and it’s actually pretty hard to find decent pieces that don’t look all beat up, worn out and see through. I know that’s the trend now, but it’s annoying.

I’ve been on the lookout for the same and Reiss has nice t’s but they were a little longer than I want.

I find it’s sometimes hard to get a specific RTW piece in my size. Last summer, when I saw a cute so black mini chevron reissue on TPF, I just walked into a boutique and bought one. Maybe my experience is not typical though? I think H needs more RTW customers bc it’s primarily a leather house. chanel, though is first known for its clothing, second for bags and accessories. Or that’s what I thought.

It’s definitely getting more and more difficult to get Chanel RTW pieces. I’ve heard the demand exceeds supply from multiple people. That’s why I really don’t want resellers to join this RTW game haha. They can do a lot of damages...

This jacket was a surprise as I’m not a pink person and not looking for one in a jacket. The tweed with the mix of pink, mauve and white is beautiful. 34 was still rather oversize, so leaving it with the seamstress to have it tweaked and adjusted slightly but still keeping with the original design. For me, this is an easy, wearable piece in a classic but with a twist style. 3rd pic (pardon the background mess) was how SA styled it but not for me haha.

thank you! I prefer the CHANEL jumper to the cardi. Was wearing the jumper when I went to check out the cardi and the cardi matched the outfit I was wearing so it came home too

Resellers are already snatching up popular RTW pieces in my location (whether that's just on a normal season or sale period) and it's quite difficult to even see the item in real life (even if it is not the right size). So this model will just make things even worse or even forcing regular to pre-order and commit to RTW pieces per season in order to be in the queue of seeing other items.

It's a shame this piece was sold by the time I was able to make it to the store and I wasn't able to see it in person!

You look great! I had no idea the tweed looks like that up close! Beautiful! I had a chance to try it on in a proper size and I actually liked it but I wasn’t sure about the shoulders. How are you tweaking it if I may ask?

currently in my t shirt drawer:

Mainly Wolford (Tanks for me, not the body suits). Hanro. Both run large
brunello cuchinelli mens for oversized boyfriend look (brunello will tailor the tee shirt)
American Giant for the classic muscle tank and suPima t shirts
Athleta for a skinny synthetic black camo racer back (runs very large)
james Perse for the California t shirt
mens zimmerli tanks, though i prefer Richelieu style which is sort of semi transluscent.

Both dolce and gabbana and issey miyake years ago used to make muscle tees and t shirts s9metimes as part of their spring line (not underwear, but actual tanks and things)
And, H&M used to make a linen T shirt.

I like the fitted tees from Massimo Dutti (the best for me), COS, Uniqlo U and Zara.

The back will be taken in a little, the shoulder drop moved up slightly and the sleeves shortened.
