I found some Metiers D’Art photos from Instagram today!

May I ask what pieces you all are considering getting from the upcoming Metiers collection?

I’m not sure there’s much that I’d really, really love to have this time around, but I can never be sure with chanel. I would love some second opinions on the collection to help me figure out a game plan

I’m waiting on the sweater/skirt knit combo and to try the orange cardi. I love the tweed pieces like the jackets but they are getting up there in pricing for me. I’d love to try them when they come in. Metiers knits are what I usually wait for-in the past I’ve gotten a few black jackets from the collections. I know some ladies are waiting for the tweed pieces. . The checkerboard skirts are cute. Not a fan of the body suits. Will be skipping them another thing is usually it collides with sale so it’s a matter of what do I like/want more

It’s definitely a juggling act !! Last year I think I got the pink cruise dress on sale but I was drooling over the sweatshirt and the knit separates and the little black top. I even ended up w the little cropped black jacket w gold buttons quite recently.

I must say, the belts from this upcoming metiers are really special in these shots. The one with the white jacket and the one in P's pic with the knit set , so pretty!

Hi ladies! I'm a newbie to Chanel's rtw. Last week I saw and tried on this beautiful coat from AW2020. My SA said these coats just arrived at the store. I'm very tempted to get it but the price ($10500) and it being from AW2020 made my paused.. Is it normal the collection from a year ago still in store? She just emailed that my size is still available. Should I wait for the new collection or get this? TIA!

I love seeing the pink jacket looking great on everyone else! It did not suit me at all...
I confess I am a white t-shirt addict. My favorite thin ones are Vince, thick rag&bone, v-neck Paige, crew neck Jenni Kayne. I wear them under Chanel jackets and cardis a lot!

I find nice white tee and tank top from Wolford and Hanro. Wolford had a really cute white t-shirt, "dylan shirt," last season that goes well with CC RTW. For Hanro, I have balance v-neck tank top in white that is not transparent, a bit relaxed fit, and looks nice.

Thank you for these details! I bought a couple Hanro tanks from Nordstrom today, but they were not the “balance tank.” I’ll look into both Wolford and Hanro again!

I will say that I have a long coat from the rooftop collection that I absolutely love. It is unique with many interesting details. It was $8400, but it’s a light spring coat. I can’t imagine the price for an item like the one you are considering will go anywhere but up! How were you thinking of wearing it? It is warm enough to be a winter coat?
