I love them both, but I have to vote dress! I think the shorter sleeve with the different pattern is easier on the eye. There is a lot going on with the two patterns in the turtleneck because the sleeve is longer. Plus, I think I like the scalloped stripe better on the main body of the garment than on the sleeve. Of course, it all depends what you would get more use out of as well.
I liked the turtleneck with the grey shorts but overall I prefer the dress - length, flattering cut etc. Especially with the boots. I liked the shorter skirt with the boots, but found that particular look too banded - too many contrasts horizontals? Maybe a mid toned skirt? How did the cream skirt look with the boots?
I think with the boots, the outfit needs to be the backdrop. I'd also play with tone-on-tone to get more use from them.

Another vote for the dress. It is very flattering on you. I also think it will deliver a completely different look with black tights as an option. It would be an easy, comfortable outfit with a variety of shoe/boot options. I also prefer the shoulder line on the dress vs the sweater.
I'm 5'6 & the collection only goes on sale in Europe on Monday so just seeing it for the first time-this was a size up than the one I need but well below the knee on me. It's a beautiful classic dress & I wasn't expecting to like anything in this collection! The short boots have my name on-silver & the bronze. I tried the knee high ones and they are amazing-not big on the calves at all but the pull on was a deal breaker for me especially with the glitter which I'm sure will be damaged every time I have to pull them off.
