This is a size 44 but I wanted to show you the details up close. I really like this one and my size is coming soon. Comes in white too but I think the black offers more options. I like the contrast you see with whatever is underneath. TT, I am seeing this with the onyx 20... I think the price is a bit much but I really like the detail up close. Will look great dressed up or with jeans. View attachment 5041950
The white pants we are thinking will go well with my very, very special spectacular blue jacket. I love this jacket so much and I know you all have heard my story about letting it go and then getting it back again. Also, my SA says it can go with the other jacket from greece collection and my ecru plaid one too (jacket pics are from my posts from years ago ). The pants are a very light tweed.View attachment 5041759View attachment 5041760View attachment 5041761View attachment 5041762
So many good pics and pieces snowball !! Love the basic pieces (basic seems like not the right term bc they are quite marvelous but you know what I mean hehe). I would love to hear more about how those strapped sandals fitand are they comfy.
I too was really sad about how the pink jacket fit. The pink cardi came in. It’s a thinner cashmere than the dress. Very cute

Great tops! Twins on the white from this year. I also got the black one. I think they’ll be very useful under the jacket or on their own.Now onto some new things I tried this past weekend at my store.. For those of you who have seen my posts over the years, I tend to wear conservative jackets and skirts and other tailored looks. In a word, boring. Like the outfit I just posted above. I really tended to gravitate toward a certain look( my comfort zone) and I have asked my SA to kindly help me loosen that up. I want, and really need, some more casual things that can mix and match but still be age appropriate. So hopefully more jeans and knits etc. Not to say I won't fall for a beautiful classic jacket if it drops in my path.. but you get the picture. So, we started with some basic t shirts for the spring. Who can't use a good white t shirt (or in this case two of them)? One is the current and the other is from last year. Very similar but different- one is a bit longer but both made of that great stretchy material that C does. This year's version costs $250 more- price increase evident for sure. The blue shirt in the background I am getting as an option to wear with the navy pants with the yellow ribbon trim I posted before. View attachment 5041578View attachment 5041579
I really love the color, but this cut is so bad.Next, the much discussed pink jacket. The COLOR!!! They have not done such a spectacular pale pink tweed in so long!! It just is the PERFECT shade for me, so flattering for my skin tone. But, we tried and tried to figure out how to make this work but ladies, there is just no way I can handle this style. I am always up for extensive alterations but not possible here and leaving it behind made me so sad. Forgive the mismatched shoe situation, I was also slipping on different options my SA wanted me to try. I did get the taupe loafers- a very unique color.View attachment 5041617
Very tricky to wear it. I still haven’t worn mine, but I can make it work with the belt.Back again , I see that my pink sweater post didn't appear (at least for me) so here is the picView attachment 5041692
Please post pictures when you try them.On to more pants. These arrived for me at the store yesterday and my SA took some pics. She says the pants are absolutely fantastic in person and I am really looking forward to trying them on! View attachment 5041732View attachment 5041733
Did you find the black to be smaller than the cream? Or mine was labeled wrongly? I return the back for a size bigger and the cream for lining. She is also bringing in my size in these pants in both colors (black and white). There was only a size 40 for me to try. You can see that they are lightweight. ari, I think these may be the ones that you considered? If so, I see what you mean about the fabric.
My alterations lady says she can drop in a lining in the white ones no problem (full or partial) if necessary. Also, there is no extra material at the seams for letting out so we are bringing in a size larger than normal as we can always take them in. Yes, very nice combination!Love this knit top to go with them. The pants are a size too big and the sweater a size too small but when it all fits I think it will be a really nice look. The angle of the pic makes the neckline look more plunging than it really is. Also, these are the shoes she is bringing in for me for these pantsView attachment 5041748View attachment 5041749
Very Chanel look! The cream pants will look great with this cardigan also! She says the pants are also perfect for the tie sweater I got from my last visit. We are altering the sleeves on this sweater a bit shorter but I like the two of them together. Makes a nice look for the office. Sorry about flashing my midriff - I will definitely put on a tank under this sweater ! Again, sizing on the pants is wrong but they are SO light , airy and comfortable to wear. Perfect for warmer temps.View attachment 5041756
Love how this looks on you! Thanks snowball ! This is fun- feel like I’m right there with you - had the same disappointment with the “shoulders” pink jacket and the long pink cardi- really wanted to love them but they didn’t work - I tried on the wrap coat that matches your blue tweed pants- it was oversized and reminded me of the 1930’s beach robes that glamorous movie stars used to wear. I suppose that ties in the the Rio aspect of that collection. Loved the fabric - I’ll have to check out the pants - there is a Chanel 19 bag in this fabric as well - just sayin’
