So many good pics and pieces snowball !! Love the basic pieces (basic seems like not the right term bc they are quite marvelous but you know what I mean hehe). I would love to hear more about how those strapped sandals fit  and are they comfy.
I too was really sad about how the pink jacket fit. The pink cardi came in. It’s a thinner cashmere than the dress. Very cute

Pigleto! I love it on you!

ari, the black and white tweed pants for me are being sent from another store. I am curious on he sizing too and I will let you know when I get to try them on with my seamstress , probably next week. I am getting them both in a 38, the size I tried in the pic was a 40. I will be very interested to see if they fit differently! I think the lining will help so much on the white pair for sure. Shoes also on the way and will report back for comfort. Thank you for your feedback on the pieces, I really appreciate your thoughts!

TT, that coat looks rather elegant on you! This checked pattern is quite nice on, very spring and fresh. I am wondering what this most recent lockdown will mean for Chanel and what day to day living is like for our European TPF members. So much going on.
P, agree on the "basics" , they are are fabulous. Can't wait to see your pictures in pink! Why am I feeling this might just go home with you....
Thank you
I wanted the smaller size in this so I could wear as a dress for outdoor events which are more frequent due to Covid. This was very oversized - the one I tried was already a size smaller than my normal size.

Thank you dearest Snowball!
I got a new skirt from the previous Metier D’art collection, thinking that it might go well with the black jacket, but I’m not sure it goes well. I actually find that jacket difficult, but I love it

Wanted to share what a big difference a tiny alteration can do. I basically adjust/alter everything , especially jackets. I picked up my purple jacket this past weekend and the alteration was at the shoulder. The pic with the black shirt is before alterations and the other is after. If you look closely, you can see the difference in the shoulder- I almost always remove the shoulder pad as shipped and replace it with what my SA and I refer to as the "chicken cutlet" - a smaller, thin pad that gives structure but not volume. I am not tall so I can't do a broad shoulder line.
Also, after a second try ( and no naughty treats, I have a wicked sweet tooth) I still could barely zip up the gray jeans lol! So , she is adding extra gray denim material in the waistband with some elastic in the back. I have done this before and you can't Purple.JPGSpring 2021 purple jacket.JPG tell from the outside even without a belt. Gives mom jeans comfort with Chanel chic.

ari, that looks fantastic together. Love the skirt with the jacket. The subtle details of the skirt material add interest to the combination.
You have inspired me to to request some H bags in bright colors. I recently visited with my SA at my boutique to discuss my new wish list and I have asked (begged actually!) to get one in a beautiful new green that I love- vert criquet bright, but not too almost looks like a pistachio green. It would be perfect for spring but with everything going on with France I am not getting my hopes up too much.
I love the way the blue bag adds color to your jacket/skirt combo.

sheeby, thank you for your compliment on the blue jacket. The color is amazing. It is from 2018 Resort collection- I could not find the jacket on the runway but the dress was. The collection was stunning, original and full of amazing details. If you ever have a minute to scroll through the pics from this collection , it is really worth it to appreciate Karl's amazing talent. Now that he is gone, I appreciate it more than ever.blue.JPG

The jacket looks fantastic! And yes, the shoulders are perfect now.
I can totally understand the sweet tooth situation. I can’t resist chocolate!
What a clever idea about the jeans!

Thank you Snowball! I still haven’t found the perfect match for this jacket.
The best idea was the dress our Tykhe wore while ago.
I also love the way Melania wore it, but it’s quite formal.
I actually think now you can get a B or K much easier, especially in France. I bought last year vert criquet for my friend and a Kelly for me, and I was offered 2 more Bs in different colors.
My friend is wearing it during the winter and it looks great with everything!

Thank you for the compliment! I need to find more opportunities to wear this jacket.
In the US it was relatively easy to get a b/k last nov-dec. I remember I walked in with no purchase history and was told they had several b30s and k28s. I walked out with a noir k28!

it is tough to get offers now or so I hear. Hopefully things will liven up by the end of the year so I can get a b25
