Chanel RTW ~ Reveals, Chit-chat & Info thread

I would appreciate opinions on this cropped jacket I fell in love with a few days ago. I avoided trying it on but gave in today. Of course I fell in love but after getting rid of most of my Chanel RTW I promised myself to limit future purchases to practical pieces that I would be able to use often. The jacket is surprisingly comfortable and not too thick, it doesn’t limit my movements which has been an issue for me in the past. It is delicate, though. I follow the thread but don’t recall anyone purchasing it. So to all the ladies who purchased or considered this jacket, how hard do you find to style it? I am aware that cropped jackets are limiting and I am not keen on the look with jeans and t-shirt as proportions look off but didn’t have time to try it with other pieces from the store. Any opinions and suggestions are welcome.

I did purchase the pink 21C cardigan/dress which still is short on me but manageable. However, I am a tad bit shorter than @pigleto972001.
It is going to Italy to have the sleeves altered.

It looks fantastic on you as you are!
I got it, it’s very pretty! I’m a bit worry about the pearls on the back and under arms, they might bother me, but I haven’t worn it .
I plan to wear it with wide leg high waisted pants/jeans..I posted a picture while ago.
The pink cardigan is very useful and pretty and looks great on you!

That's super cute but wow that price? Thats madness I feel.
However , I am loving the knit at the back with the multicoloured CHANEL all over, any more info would be greatly appreciated.
I tried the knit because the multicolor was fun. I believe it had bell sleeves and it was loose but I can’t recall if it was meant to be that way or if I was trying on a larger size. I just remember it looking very clownish on me and I couldn’t wait to take it off. Sorry I didn’t take a pic.

True! I am sorry I forgot about your posts! I haven’t even thought about the pearls potentially being an issue under the arms. I’ll pay attention to that when I try it on again. I imagined wearing this with light high waisted, flowing pants. I am just used to being comfortable and lazy when it comes to styling after a full year working from home only. Lacking imagination and willingness to put some effort into it.
Your Hamburg coat is stunning by the way. I didn’t pick it up on sale end of 2019, regretted it and my SA promised it would be back for the last winter sale. Of course it wasn’t. Trying to find it preloved now.

I am going to give you my opinion which I think maybe be unpopular. I think it looks fabulous on you. The way you styled it is really cute. But I think the style would be limiting and it is a very noticeable piece so to me, it's not something you could style a bunch of ways and make it seem really different. It's a showstopper for sure. I saw it in Chicago and it was beautiful. I share the concern about cropped and I don't buy them for that reason. But I don't think it could look any better than it does on you.

ETA: If I were to make a big investment in a cropped piece, it would be this one: (and you would look amazing in it given your figure).
