I don’t understand this love affair with dropped shoulders. I have basically passed on all the jackets because of this and they are oversized. What happened to something with a shape?
At first I thought oversizing is VV’s attempt to attract guys to purchase, but then none of my guy friends liked the design, either. Somehow it makes me reminiscing when Brad Kroenig (plus baby Hudson!) and Baptiste Giabiconi walked the runway...
I miss Brad and Hudson. My 2011 cruise white jacket was worn by them. It’s one of my favorites. Pretty sure I posted a picture of it here a long time ago. Yikes! I just realized that the last time I wore it was last year and my last time out for lunch with a friend a week before we were locked down for the pandemic.
Think I may have seen this in Bloomingdale’s today. The dropped shoulder did not look attractive on the hanger.

Oh it’s a sign to wear it again! I placed my SO at H exactly one week before lockdown and picked up a pair of runway sandals on my way out bc my SA and I thought they would be great for “summer cruise”
The irony hahaha. For the past few months I’ve been overdressing a little and adding metiers jackets to my outfits when I run necessary errands (normally I would just wear a pullover and jeans). Surprisingly that made my daily life more exciting, and that positivity stays even when I’m home all day long!
I tried the t shirt and it was pretty cute and quite comfortable, but yes that price tagThis is the t-shirt which really gave me Chanel sticker shock.
It’s like a holographic sparkly iron on. Hence my sticker shock.
I don’t see anything wrong with wearing a chanel jacket with whatever you feel like! Karl was all about breaking the codes, remember the biking shorts with a jacket, evening dress with flat shoes, fancy skirts with biker boots, biker jacket with a silk dress. Why not with joggers, it’s the same as wearing a jacket with jeans. I don’t see the difference!
