I got lazy (and overwhelmed) and didn't take a picture of everything I tried on, but here are some pieces that made it to my camera roll today. Apologies if some of these are last season and you've seen them many times already. I haven't gone back far enough in the thread to see what's been discussed yet. Side note: I wore my vuori joggers and my SA asked where I got them and said she needs a pair, too.
I went home with the black bomber/letterman jacket and the green cardigan from cruise, but in the pink color way, which will be shipped to me from another boutique. The black jacket is a very safe addition to my wardrobe, but I think I'll get a lot of wear out of it with the type of clothing I wear. I did try on the lesage(?) jacket (the jacket with the woven ribbons) and I loved it! But I felt it wasn't suitable for my lifestyle and the price tag was a little shocking for me. The lining seemed so flimsy, too, but i'm not sure if that was done on purpose so that it's more lightweight for spring/summer...?

Vuori joggers/sweatpants are so ugly in my opinion. I dont like them at all. I would never buy vuorianything, that is my opinion! To wear them with Chanel makes no sense at all. 5k-10k plus on a jacket with vuori makes chanel look cheap,fake, and like someone couldn’t afford to buy the rest of a chanel outfit...no offense...just need to understand why anyone would do this and promote this brand so much, when this is suppose to be a chanel rtw thread. No offense, to the women posting informative pictures demonstrating the Chanel ready to wear...just my opinion on an irrelevant to the thread vuori brand. ✌

I dont know who started this inside joke of wearing vuori with chanel on this thread...I personally dont like them(Vuori). fashion is subjective to one’s opinion. I can see someone wearing sweatpants, but i particularly don’t like vuori sweatpants! I’d rather people wear regular Hanes sweatpants at least they come in different colors and dont look like rags. With everyone dressing down during the pandemic , it’s a breath of fresh air when someone actually puts effort into how they look and What they wear. This is after all a CHANEL thread. We should be more about only Chanel rtw, being informative on chanel sizing, etc. Not about vuori joggers or any particular brand, seems like people have a lot of stock in vuori and trying to promote it and it makes me suspicious.
I love wearing my Chanel jackets with my black skinny jeans from Uniqlo (they are fit, super affordable and so stretchy!), or pairing my Chanel coats with a simple tshirt from H&M that I bought with a 70% discount. If you really think about it, it’s just like how Chanel liked to mix fine jewelry with costume jewelry! Frankly speaking, I don’t want people to know that I am wearing Chanel. If they know, they know. I don’t need people to think that I have enough money to purchase the whole outfit. I already know that I have the whole thing in my closet and other people’s validations certainly did not pay for that. I’m not going to flaunt what I have by dripping myself in the brand - but I’m also not a huge logo fan so there’s that. The infamous joggers came with me. The 5 top was so cute. It’s machine wash
The pink cardi I initially was meh about but it’s soft and cozy. This was a 36. The top fit pretty well (I have no chest) but the bottom is snug. It’s so low cut my goodness. I thought the buttons were nice. I can kind of see why it’s expensive. The trim looks “drawn” on but it’s actually stitched in and it’s varying widths. So it’s prob a bit complex to do. I have a pic of me wearing it as a dress but it’s rather revealing so I will stick to wearing it as a cover for my joggers
