I really like Portero.com too! Especially, how they rate their handbags (Pristine, Excellent, Very Good, etc. They used to let you sort by that, which I really liked so that I could weed out all the well used handbags... I wish they'd bring that feature back. Their customer service is really responsive too. I purchased a Black Mini Lambskin Flap and it was in the condition described! :)

Deja Vu in Palm Beach, Florida has been called the queen mother of consignment stores for Chanel. Unfortunately they do not have a website so if you're vacationing in S. Florida they are definitely worth a visit. They are located at 219 Royal Poinciana Way, just down the block from Publix. If you know the island you may know Chuck and Harold's, they are located in the via just behind the restaurant.

Chanel has its own room in the store.

They are in Soho and UES. I haven't been but would like to one day. I read that they are a little pricey though..idk. HTH!
I've bought a bunch from A Second Chance in SoHo and have had good experiences. I've bought Chanel jewelry and clothing.

Oh my gosh!!!! I just received a bag from eBay seller Barbie*Chan. It is a m/l lambskin flap with ghw. I paid for it on eBay on Tuesday night. It arrived on Friday afternoon! Japan to Dallas in 3 days! I wish wish wish I would have taken pictures as I opened it to do a reveal because you would not believe the way she packed it. It was way, way beyond expectations and easily as nice (nicer, really) than a boutique! Her communication was good, too.

ebay Seller Barbie*Chan --- I had an awesome experience and highly recommend!

I have purchased from

Annsfabulousfinds

There are many more reputable re-sellers but I have had exemplary service from all of the above

Lots of the consignment stores on Palm Beach have Chanel, Hermes, LV, etc. I'd recommend also Fashionista Palm Beach and Consigned Couture in North Palm Beach has a lot of LVs and Chanels as well. The Goodwill on the Island has lots of fakes so beware. Fashionista Palm Beach has a TON of luxury clothes. They have a rack for Hermes, Escada, etc. They also have Birkins and a whole cabinet devoted to Chanel accessories.

City Girl Consignment on Dixie Highway in West Palm has lots of Manolos and Prada and Gucci and Coach. Sometimes they get a Chanel here and there and LV. Fashionista also has a store on Dixie Highway a bit further south (like 5 min bike ride) and they have cheaper items than the Palm Beach store. Theres a lot of consignment stores on this street by the downtown and its also known as "antique row" for all the expensive antique stores.

There are a lot of new consignment stores in S. Florida. The high end fashion scene exploded in recent years which gave rise and the need for more boutiques. I have been consigning at Deja Vu since the mid 80's and as a consignor they get me the highest money for my items. They were the only consignment store in PB back then selling Chanel and all the other high end brands.

Their clientele is largely the ladies who live on the island of Palm Beach and have plenty of bucks to spend. Their reputation is decades old. I live in NY and there are a myriad of amazing consignment stores up here. Michael's is probably the most well known and the only one that could go toe to toe with Deja Vu. I've consigned at both and Deja Vu wins for me every time.

I'm sure the other consignment stores have better prices. Deja Vu has a whole room that is only Chanel. I'm told there is a famous socialite who buys my clothes and comes in and asks if there's anything new by my consignment number. I don't know who she is but we seem to keep each other happy.

I just purchased the Chanel e/w purple caviar 06 from ameizing_assemblage on ebay and she is also a tpf member. I purchased it through paypal so I cannot give her a feedback but I would like to say thank you, she is great, I recommend.
