Thank you San2222 for your reply! Yes I guess the price does make a difference lol! I already have one rectangular mini so I guess 225 will be a better fit for me considering the relatively minor price difference between 224 and 225.

224 is so cute though :(

Couple of other points to consider:
224 is considered seasonal and not part of the main collection - so it is sort of limited edition and may come out in different finishes/skins / colours. 225 is in the main collection and is always available.
225 size does make a difference how much you can carry - Small wallet rather than a card case with my other small stuff. But 224 looks prettier as a crossbody and clutch in my opinion.

Thank you! I tried on 226 in London the past weekend and I like it very much! Since I already have the m/l flap I might go for the 226! I was considering a jumbo but it's too boxy and too big for my frame. 226, however, looks much better and the shape is also more soft :)

By the way, does anyone know if the chevron reissue is part of the seasonal or the classic collection? I would like to get a 226 in chevron / distressed calf skin / GHW in the future but not sure if it is only available in current season?

Chevron is always seasonal, the current reissue in chevron is from the Paris in Rome collection and it has the so black hardware I believe. For fall act 1 and 2 I've seen the reissue in washed caviar with gold hardware in beige and red. They do seem to do the chevron reissues at least once a year but colour and hardware changes, so it's just about waiting for the combination you want and jumping on it

Thank you so much for your reply! I just purchased two bags in the past 3 weeks so now have to save up for reissue which means I will not catch the Paris in Rome:(

However, if the reissue in chevron is considered as seasonal will the Heathrow T3 or T5 have them? I will be travelling via Heathrow and Hong Kong in January 2017 and it will be lucky to score one (IF they carry them of course...)

Im really not sure what Heathrow carries but some tpf's have SA contacts there so if you can get into contact with one they might be able to help. Otherwise its hit or miss....

The only reissues (or classic flaps for that matter) that Heathrow carries are the mini square or rectangle. The Heathrow thread shows a few reissue chevron minis for your info!

I couldn't decide between the 226 and the 227. I ultimately went with the 227. I'd like to get a 226 eventually though. I sold my m/l flap as it was just too small. I think the 226 is a great size and it has the chain that can be worn crossbody.

Just saw these today. Fell in LOVE with the look, leather, size and chain of the burgundy mini but at this price point compared to the rectangle mini, I really can't justify purchasing it.. :( They're pretty much the same size and shape.

I know!!!! It's practically almost double of the rect mini (in Australia). It's such a lovely style and combo, but the price point makes it undesirable :D

I noticed that this thread turned into a general Reissue thread vs the 224 thread. I'm so happy as the Reissue is my favorite Chanel and I was so surprised it didn't have its own thread.
