I am starting to feel I little obsessed with the new colours for the reissue, I would love a 224 in the dark red/burgundy or navy..
Went to the Chanel boutique today and was hoping to purchase the fall grey reissue in the 225 size. But i was told it doesn't come in that size [emoji31]. I have jumbos already so was looking for something smaller and lighter.
Anyways it's such a beautiful bag!!! I may consider the black with gold but the SA said those haven't come in yet.
I saw the new colours in 224, grey, burgundy and black with black hardware. To be honest I was a little disappointed with the quality of the leather. They have a gold and a silver version too, all of them chevron quilting. Is anyone getting one from the new collection?
Where did you see the gray color in 224 size? What size is 224 called? My SA said 225=small so I'm curious what the 224 is called.
They have black, gray, beige in smallest size (224) in London. 3240£

The black I saw had black hardware- this is different. I love the size for everyday and more dressy. It's the perfect size for me.Saw the dark gray chevron 225 size in London as well! [emoji7][emoji7] maybe not a US thing.
Hi! I just picked this up yesterday at Harrod's in London, and I absolutely adore it... But I have a question for the 224 owners... (They called it 2.55 mini on receipt btw.)
I feel like the flap is too small compared to the lower part of the bag. Is this normal? I had three to choose from but this was in the best shape. One had some black dot on the back - that one seemed to have a more "full flap". The other one the leather had some weird dent, so I took this one home.
I'm looking at it now, and I feel like the flap is too narrow for the body. Looking at it straight on it seems okay, but even just slightly from an angle you can see that the top flat is more narrow than the bottom half of the bag. I've seen this on other 2.55 as well. Is this supposed to be like that?!! Am I asking for too much for it to be aligned? Lmk thanks in advance!!

Ohhh! I think this looks gorgeous and the flap appears in proportion to me, but you need to be satisfied with it. If we were getting these in the US, I would definitely snatch one!
I see what you mean. I did notice this also in the store in Amsterdam on the smaller reissues. Maybe it's how they make them nowadays...
Mine is from 2012 and the flap matches the body better I think. Maybe it's because of the Chevron?
Where in London did you see the black on black chevron 224? It's nearly impossible to find the 224 size in the US, but I'm headed to London later this month and hope to snag one!Great spy shot!
Thanks for the input FunBagz and ILLoveFashion -- I ultimately decided that I didn't like the fact that the upper flap was smaller than the rest of the bag and returned it. It was a gorgeous bag. [emoji29]
