I never thought of getting a 224 as it's quite a unicorn and also because of its price point (comparing to classic mini and woc), but when I saw this bargain I just can't pass it on [emoji85]

I want a carefree non-black Chanel mini crossbody and it's exactly what I'm looking for!
the only thing I'm not sure about is its metallic finishing as I prefer a more matte, non shiny look. somehow it looks... more dated? than my black 225 ghw [emoji848] I dunno what makes the difference in my feelings towards the same style... (I love love loveee my other reissues!!)

I'm a bit of a newbie in the reissue world - so is 224 a mini? So close to the rectangular mini size?

yes :) it's quite a special color and it grew on me once I started wearing it [emoji4]

I don't have a rectangular mini but this 224 measures 8 x 6 x 2 inches :) it holds my phone + wallet or coin purse + keys. hth!

I am seriously IN LOVE with your bag! The color seems chameleon...kind of bronze-like in pic but I see how it can be grey. Looks totally neutral & SPECTACULAR to me! Congrats & all the best :loveeyes::cloud9::heart:

I definitely see more grey in this vs the previous pic (&my post reply) LOVING IT BIGTIME! I have a black reissue with matte gold HW in 224 (although my Saks SA only referred to it as "small" but it's same measurements as what you posted on your 224)

[emoji8] ahh and I love your combo of black with matte ghw - so classy! do you find the double flap of your 224 bulges out a bit? the front sometimes looks heavier than the back, maybe I should just try not to stuff it with too many things [emoji85]

Hmmmm, I'll have to pay attention the next time I use my 224. I haven't noticed that being a problem though. When I've carried it I only put a smaller card case style wallet inside (not my larger/everyday wallet) along with my small key case, iPhone6 plus, & a lipstick... so I do not really stuff it with many items. It sounds like maybe that is the reason why yours might bulge out a little-??

Congratulations on your new addition. This is a stunning bag. How are you finding the metallic finish? It seems there are many reissues with all sorts of metallic colors ( in that I have seen more metallic finish reissues than classic flaps), like you I am sort of concerned about the finish. Also, forgive me if you mentioned it ; what is the leather type? Again it's a beautiful bag. Best, SB

yep I think that's why! :p I use coin purse instead of a small wallet now. thanks for the tip!

thank you!! yes in fact it's not too shiny. it's more like titanium/graphite if you get what I mean :)
I think it is calfskin, which is very durable! this 224 completed my reissue family [emoji173]️ (off to ban island and can't get the chevron reissue anymore... [emoji85])
