Looks like a mini/224 to me. I have a small/225 and although it appears slightly smaller than a M/L classic flap, it actually hold the same (maybe even a bit more). The medium/226 reissue is between the sizes of the M/L and jumbo classic flap.

I completely agree. I have both a m/l classic and a 225 and similar in size but I can fit more in the 225 because of the structure.

Thanks, I was unsure since the 224s other people posted looked more square than mine, but they were similar size. I prefer the look of the reissue to the classic flap. the reissue I have is made of a delicate leather so I rarely wear it, hoping to get a more practical one in 225 size

this is a silly question, but does the 224 have a single or double flap? i assume that it is comparable to the classic rectangular mini (which only has a single flap). and what is the price in the US for the 224? i've only seen 225 (which is 4900) and up. i would love to have a so black 224 in quilted aged calfskin!

it has a double flap. it's 4700 i think, which is why many people pass it up... they figure for 200 more they can get the 225. the 224 does hold about what a mini does, the rectangle. i had both at one point and i actually felt my rect. mini held more. depends on how you pack it i guess.

Thanks! I was hoping the reissue flap would be at a similar price point as the classic mini. Oh well.....

Congratulations! It's a beautiful piece. How did you manage to get it for only $1400?! What a bargain! You seem unsure but for that price I would keep it. I think charcoal grey goes with many outfit colours. You can contrast it against both pale or dark-coloured clothes. As for the leather, I have a gold in size 226. It has a subtle sheen and the metallic finishing seems durable. I have had no issues whatsoever with regards to wear and tear.
I believe you can resell it easily should you decide to let it go

I want a carefree non-black Chanel mini crossbody and it's exactly what I'm looking for!
the only thing I'm not sure about is its metallic finishing as I prefer a more matte, non shiny look. somehow it looks... more dated? than my black 225 ghw [emoji848] I dunno what makes the difference in my feelings towards the same style... (I love love loveee my other reissues!!)

In the photo it looks like a matte gold or bronze rather than a true grey. I prefer non metallic bags too, but I guess it depends what you wear it with.
