At the moment all the boutiques have it. Bond Street, and the Selfridges concession most definitely. They do sell fast though as just a few pieces in each boutique... You are lucky to be buying from the US the GBP is the lowest it's been in my lifetime so bargains to be had for the US$. Please post photos of you decide to get one.

Went to the Chanel boutique today and was hoping to purchase the fall grey reissue in the 225 size. But i was told it doesn't come in that size [emoji31]. I have jumbos already so was looking for something smaller and lighter.

Anyways it's such a beautiful bag!!! I may consider the black with gold but the SA said those haven't come in yet.

I feel like the flap is too small compared to the lower part of the bag. Is this normal? I had three to choose from but this was in the best shape. One had some black dot on the back - that one seemed to have a more "full flap". The other one the leather had some weird dent, so I took this one home.

I'm looking at it now, and I feel like the flap is too narrow for the body. Looking at it straight on it seems okay, but even just slightly from an angle you can see that the top flat is more narrow than the bottom half of the bag. I've seen this on other 2.55 as well. Is this supposed to be like that?!! Am I asking for too much for it to be aligned? Lmk thanks in advance!!

Sorry just seeing this - VAT I believe is 20%, but the companies that process VAT return takes a percentage. I think I would have gotten 12% back.

Unfortunately, I did not end up getting another one. They didn't have any perfect beige ones. In addition, I didn't have much time to browse other shops. They had other colors, but at the time I didn't want to buy good ol' black and gold. Oh regrets!

May I ask how is the capacity of the 224 compared to rectangular mini flap in terms of what fits inside of the bag? I have been lusting over the reissues for a while and wonder which size I should get...I am usually very much into mini bags but as I do have a lot of mini bags not sure if I should go for 224 or the bigger sizes...

The 224 is def slightly bigger because of the wider base but you make want to take into account the price difference...think 224 is pretty expensive, USD4,700 (compared with 225, around USD4,900) while mini is 3,100 (compared with ml, also USD4,900)...not sure if this will affect your decision making.
