I deiceded last April as I was in Paris to get the 2.55 bag and was hesitant regarding the size . Choosing the right size was the difficult part for me.
At the end I got the medium (which is the 255) which looked better on me.
I still had doubts after I just purchased it , but as I started to use it I realized that is the perfect size for me (it’practical ,fits all my essentials , light weight, looks perfect on me and can easily transition from day to night). I even used it in the airport (crossbody) for my important stuff and had a tote bag with for the other stuff and I insert the 2.55 in tote during security check.
I love the 2.55 as it is really elegant ( I really love the aged calf skin) . It looks luxurious but still understated which is very important to me.

I am on the fence about getting a reissue in ruthenium over gold. I have always thought it had to be in the classic gold, but then I see so many people wearing the ruthenium version and it looks amazing! It has a more casual vibe which I think might be easier to use daily. What do y’all think?

Ruthenium.

The bag with ruthenium still feel so luxurious …

I’m not a fan of gold in general .
But try both and see how you feel about them when you wear them.

I had the black with ghw in the 225 size and the navy with ruthenium hw in the 226 size. I struggled with the decision to let go of the black and gold because it is so classic and I prefer the 225 size, but I’m glad I eventually sold it. While it’s beautiful and I’m usually a gold jewelry/ghw kind of girl, I just love the reissue with ruthenium hw. I found the ruthenium more wearable on a daily basis and it looks lovely when dressed up also.

I personally prefer the ruthenium! I feel it suits the vibe of the reissue better.

I love the ruthenium for the reissue in black. It has an edgier vibe to it. It's easily worn casually but also dresses up nicely too. I love it.

Thank you all! I appreciate your thoughts. I hope to go see the ruthenium one I’m eyeing next week. I also already have the mini reissue in black with gold, so might be wise to have both!

I've been stalking for a MINUTE and finally landed with a 226 in RHW, having watched tons of videos, etc., as to size + what fits. The item that really landed a 226 vs 225 are sunglasses, which are a must-carry, & 2 phones, etc. So it arrives, I'm in love, but I'm finding it heavier than I imagined - I think it's the chain! Q for those with both the 225 & 226 --- do you find the 225 much lighter in weight?
