So if the GST went from 2125 to 3295 does anyone know what is happening to the price of the PST which is currently $1350?

Has anyone really been charged $3295 for the GST yet?- Is it really going to be that price? And that is a very good question for the PST, that price would make the PST at $1300 something, the best deal for Chanel.......hope we find out whether these increases are real or not very soon.H

I just purchased mine last week, 2850.00... SA mentioned april it will be 3150

I just attended a Global Market Strategy Seminar last week given by JP Morgan Chase and by their forecast and projections, the dollar will drop lower and they anticipate the Euro to go higher. They are forecasting (hoping) the dollar will level off by 4th qtr 08 and back to 150 by 1st qtr 09. If this is any indicator, the prices of these bags will go up again.
If you have your eye on something, buy it now.

This information all seems so contradictory. SA's everywhere seem to be saying all sorts of different things.

For instance, in Mon's thread she said her SA from Chanel on 57th street said that the bags for pre-fall 2008 are as follows:

Purple color code: 81405 (same as SS08 metallic purple)

Pre-fall is after April, and the lambskin jumbo is supposedly $2,850 then. ???
