It seems that Chanel will keep increasing price, by the time I get my second flap next year, I'm pretty sure it's about $5000+++ in SGD already.

I think that's intentional since they want to compete with Hermes.

I heard from BG that with same budget, the Fall purchase indeed has lower quantities. The timeless classic jumbo might go up to 3100ish. Comparing it was almost half that price before Feb.2007! Insane!

Seriously, if it goes over $3100, then I am not buying any more Chanels.

I was told by a saleperson at Saks in NY that a price increase was supposed to happen in March but will possibly happen in the fall

Are these price increases confirmed or just rumor? I was at Saks yesterday and prices were the same on GSTs', checked with SA, no changes as of yesterday.H

I'd like to know if it's confirmed also, $3.25K for a GST? HOLY MOLY.

Yeah but if it were solely based on that the price shouldn't increase in areas where the Euro is the currency.......

$3,295 for the GST!!!!! thats crazy....Has this already taken place or will kick in april/ may as speculated? does anyone know how much the cavier jumbo is in the UK at the moment? I will seriously breakdown if another price increase takes place before I can get my hands on this...target is end march/first week in april
