Regarding Classic lines get on the increase list or not, i think it's on the list everytime but i do know for sure the Cerf tote will increase because it wasn't on the last few lists. I'm eyeing black, white and pink, it's a great price for under 2k.

One of my SA from NM just told me there will be a price increase. She doesn't have the details yet but she'll keep me posted.

To be honest, I give up already. No point of knowing ahead as it seems like Chanel won't be stopping their increases as long they're making lots of profit. I just buy what I really really want from now on regardless of another price increase or not. If i think Chanel bags and its price are worth it, I'm just gonna buy it. But i don't see that happening soon as their quality is so bad now. I can't believe it! but happened to me. BOOO!!!

^ yep, we're paying thousands more for the same quality or worst. i guess i have to give up my one true love which is chanel b/c the prices are just getting too outrageous and exorbitant that i actually give up unknowingly! holy moly, i've been diversifying to other brands lately such as YSL, prada, miumiu and so on. sigh, is this what chanel actually wants? well.. i guess so.. :s

Same as Javaboo, I got a call from my NM SA today, and she said that there is going to be a price increase about 15% soon. Not exactly sure when & what bags yet.

I did a couple of times last year trying to grab bags before the price increases, and this time, I just do not really care anymore. I do not want to spend more than $3,000 for a flap that used to be $1,695 just a little bit more than a year ago. I am going to enjoy what I have, not thinking about what I do not have for bags.

Since I am saving up for my first flap, I really hope they are not included in the price increase. And as a relatively newbie to Chanel (I bought a Cambon and wallet last summer) I am disappointed that the company is doing this. I think it's ridiculous that they are hiking up the prices so much and the quality has not improved at all.
