I talked to my SA yesterday and she said that at Saks the pochette (sp?) has already increased by $400!

On a side note (and I've already posted a separate thread but not sure how many people saw it), Saks is phasing out EGC. TWO separate SA's from two separate stores have told me that...in fact, Saks was supposed to have a EGC in Feb and replaced it with double points...March's EGC might be the last one in a long time...

There were assumptions that the ECG event was suppose to be on the Jan. 31, but they changed it to double points instead. That's why Saks is having double points twice within a month. (However, some member did mention that there was an ECg event on the Jan. 31 but only certain stores though). I might need to give them a call though.:hysteric:

Hi PinkRose - I saw the postings in Deals-and-Steals about possible Jan 31st EGC in Phoenix and NYC and my SA called both those stores and the promotion was Double Points.

I would LOVE to find out that my SAs are wrong about the phase out of EGC, but just in case they are not, best to take advantage of it. The SAs who told me are really plugged in and definitely not trying to push for more sales.

hello ladies,
i just came back from Vegas yesterday.
As i was told by a SA @ CHanel Wynn, there will be a price increase/adjustment to the non classic items sometimes in April.
So will the time/jewlery pieces. But she doesn't know by how much.

The price increase is usually depends upon the Euro value... so if the Euros goes UP the Chanel prices will go up too.... sad but true....

So she's saying the classics aren't going up? I wish we could get a consistent answer :-(

I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything more re: the price increase for Feb. or March, May???? :shrugs:Or whenever it's supposed to be...? If so....on what?

Nothing???? What about March 1st??? (just throwing that date out there...since Feb. 1st came and gone....perhaps March 1??:shrugs:) Hmm...

Just wondering....cuz their could be a future purchase on my part...and I'd like to beat the price increase if there is to be one soon....

[ugh, I'm coveting a white caviar jumbo flap] :sweatdrop:

I have heard March 1st from a friend of a friend who works at the Chanel boutique at SCP. :sweatdrop: I'm not going to take any chances... back when I wasn't crazy about the classic medium flap it was in the $1500s and look at the price now! :push: I thought I didn't really care about the increase but the more I think about it.. it's crazy to pay twice as much for something just because I've been stalling!

YIPE!! SCP is the Chanel boutique I go to...and Bloomingdale's Chanel.

Hmm...but I wonder if they're going to increase the classics again (being they just did last Nov. 1)

If I remember correctly the increase was going to be on other bags (not the classics)...and perhaps the classics in March or May....I don't know what to think...

I'd like to get the white jumbo...but if it goes over $3k....I just don't know..:s
