Chanel Price Increase *please include location*

I just talked to an SA at the Chanel in Toronto and she says she hasn't heard anything and neither has the manager. She told me sometimes they are told in advance and can tell clients but sometimes the prices go up without any warning. I am scared because I can't buy the bag I want till mid-March and not before! I hope there is no increase before then!

I went to the Chanel boutique in SCP to inquire about the J12 watch. The sales agent was very nice & helpful. He wrote the price of the watch on the back of his business card and told me that he had put a DATE on the card, because, he said, there will be a price increase on March 1st, so the price he quoted me is valid only till 2/29/08. Hope this helps.

My SA at the Chanel boutique in Bal Harbour told me that a price increase would go into effect in March, and the classic would be included in the increase.

Ughhh I was going to wait until saks ECG to buy the black one but this means I need to get it in the next week and a half! Did he happen to mention how much it's going up?

Yesterday I was at NM buying my first chanel bag (yeay!) and I was told that the next increase is in March.

As long as people get crazy & hurry in buying staff & bags before each price increase, Chanel will keep playing the same game .. price increase every 3/4 months .. can you imagine the profit chanel make from this game !!!!!

chanel see that increasing prices does not prevent people from buying .. it's the opposite .. & thats what keep them in the same strategy
