I was speaking to a sales agent today at Nordstroms in Canoga Park and she advised me that in mid to possibly the end of February the classic bags will increase $200.00. I will call be Chanel rep tomorrow to ask her.

I am in shock over this! I really really want one more classic Chanel. A M/L flap or an E/W if I had to pick. But I just can't afford the price it's at now let alone any higher!!! I just paid off my Medallion and Timeless Clutch!! And that together was over $3,000. I just don't know what to do!!!

i remember the last increase, we were so certain, and had all the prices about a month before the increase actually happened... can someone PLEASE tell us that this is a rumor? please?

I spoke to a rep. at Chanel today, she had not heard of the price increase, but she advised it does not mean it wont happen. The info. for the price increase was from a SA at Nordstroms in Canoga Park, she advised the wallets would go up and classic line, so don't know

-small leather handbag with metal chain (not gold or sterling, just silver metal which I've seen tarnish terribly with excessive use) $3,000 VS. new professional series viking range for kitchen remodel $3,000

-same $3,000 flap VS. my H VS 2 1ct diamond and platinum anniversary band @ $2,000.

-same $3,000 handbag or a new viking stainless steel refrigerator for remodel $2,500,
