Does anyone know about the purchasing limit at Chanel UK? I read elsewhere that you could only buy 2 bags in any 60 days, but I've just been told by a boutique that as I bought 2 SLGs in Jan, I'll have to wait until May to buy another?! Given how frequent their new collections come out, doesn't this limit what customers can purchase?

Thanks both. So it is every 60 days, not every 4 months (which is what I've been told by Harrods)? Funnily enough they used the term 'per season' to refer to the 4 months, while Chanel releases a new collection/season every 2 months!
My SA said the limit is 1 bag per 60 days and 2 SLGs as well, don’t understand how this helps with reselling as all it means is that it stops customers buying different items in the same season and all the resellers will always have a way to buy up all the stock anyway
It also depends on your SA. Last summer I was able to go over the limit as my SA asked the manager to override this restriction.

Ok so I've been misinformed by Harrods then. And agree with you on the stopping resellers point, the only people who suffer are true customers who simply love the products but cannot buy.
On a separate note, does anyone know if the WOC in the lilac pink shade (21S) is available anywhere in the UK? I'm talking about the WOC with the classic quilting and small gold CC logo as opposed to the one with the big pearl CC logo.
Think the colour code is NC022 but if you have the reference number you can use the web enquiry on the Chanel website - I tried the website and got lucky with the advisors

I hope the limit does stop resellers but they will just ask another person to go in and purchase so it doesnt help unless the SAs are strict and stop returning customers who they know have already purchased a bag in 60 days not to allow them any more

Yes I was told 1 bag every 60 days too and 2 SLGs .. not sure if this is uk only as I’ve seen people but loads in USA..
Yeah they are super strict now with the 60 day rule. Used to be able to be overridden by manager though if loyal customer. However management cracking down now.
I need some advice... I bought a Chanel classic flap today in black caviar leather with silver hardware from Harrods via their personal shopping option and from the receipt I can see the serial number starts with 29XXXXXX (so it was made in 2019).
