Hi ladies, so despite trying from December and all the way Jan until now via various SAs I’ve had no luck in buying any bags from 21p which I had my interest on. Yes it was the brown rectangle mini or cocohandles.. what do you think in your opinion have they all gone now and now my only way would be via the resale market? They are charging £500 and even more sometimes over retail. Just wondering if I should keep trying or has the boat on 21p now long sailed.
It really depends how badly you want that bag ,if you get caramel mini even from a reseller and pay £500 more it will quickly be absorbed by next price increase and this bag even hard to find from resellers l seen many iso on various Chanel groups for it ,if you don’t want to pay extra just wait for new collection and act fast as soon as collection comes out

So frustrating when I can’t even get response & the one or two times I did get someone’s response it was either they don’t have it or all gone. How do resellers get so many hard to find pieces? See pic attached , Aldo does chanel have one bag in 60 days policy in uk? Thank you
A few months ago I bought a classic flap and a 19 within about 10 days of each other and there was no issue. It was from the same SA as well. I’d been told about the policy about a year before, when I wanted to buy two bags in the same month, but was also told they could ask the permission of the boutique manager and that it “should be ok.” I’m not a frequent buyer but I have been shopping there for years, so maybe that makes a difference.

Agree I think being a repeat or known customer helps. But also luck of draw depending on manager authorisation. The rules are more strict now though so beyond 2 bags in the 60 day period is tricky.

Hey guys those beautiful metier d’art earrings are now classics and can be reordered.

So if I reach out to a boutique I'll be able to purchase? Just want to confirm because I asked about these CC studs during the original launch and was told it was a no buy in the UK, it would be great if the UK finally bought it

The U.K. definitely had these earrings, I saw it remotely myself. Not sure who told you it was a no buy :(

Or do you mean it was sold out?

Oh I was told in Harrods in the summer. They said the bigger version was bought but no stock but the studs were no buy. I just believed them, thank God its coming back I would have been sad to miss out due to them. I was not prepared to buy off resellers

Just wanted to share my recent shopping experience at Harrods (and my very first in the UK) which I found quite...underwhelming?
I haven't registered with Chanel UK before so I used Harrods personal concierge service. After I emailed them about the PC, noone from Chanel got back to me, so I had to re-inquire 3 weeks later, which one of the Chanel SA replied to the next day to my whatsapp.

Now the process was quite quick and straightforward because I know what I'm looking for and they had it in store, but i feel like the SA was quite cold throughout the whole process and she/he did not even say thank you after my purchase (even after I did, twice! there's no "you're welcome" or anything) :hrmm: And on top of that, they charged me for delivery fee! I mean... I purchased something from H Selfridges few weeks before and spent waay less amount and they did not charge me for delivery fee. Idk if I expected too much or is this how Chanel does the service :confused1:

Does anyone have the same experience?

Hi, I had the same issue with Harrods Chanel, they're super cold and not helpful. I contacted them via SA and via Personal shopper service, plus I bought from both contacts in the past! They always say will check but never get back to me. I think one they're very busy with lockdown, two many items are OOS, then they don't even bother to see when does it comes back or if can pre-order. In the end, I e-mailed Bond Street and SA there was much more helpful but again, not all the time replying, I think they're just busy.

On that note, when I bought from Harrods Personal Shopping, I didn't pay shipping, they shouldn't charge you for sure!

This is what irked me about Harrods. It’s free shipping if you spend £100+ but only if you buy from the website. I ordered things from the Harrods PS but was charged shipping! I should mention I am at the top tier of their rewards scheme but when I queried it they reminded me it’s only free shipping from in-store if you spend £250+. So it’s better to buy from online if you’re spending between £100 and £250 but not everything is available on the website.

I’m tempted to try and get my shipping refunded now but unlike a lot of people on here I have a really lovely helpful PS so in the long term I think that’s probably more valuable and not worth arguing about over £6... shouldn’t be that way though!

I agree. I thought it was ridiculous. Although if you are top tier (ie black tier), delivery is free- You shouldn’t have paid. I just sent a polite email to harrods customer service asking them about the threshold limit not expecting anything and they refunded it hassle free.
