Update for my experience with various boutiques. I have the Chanel handbag I wanted being delivered today for my Wife! I contacted Selfridges Manchester, Chanel New Bond Street Boutique, Harrods Personal Shopping, A SA given to me by a member off this forum. ALL got back to me within 48 hours and ALL were extremely helpful and polite indeed. It took me 4 days to email Chanel selfridges, Manchester and actually getting the piece sent to me. Absolutely brilliant service from Katie at Selfridges from start to finish. I now have contacts for Bond Street, Harrods, Manchester Selfridges and Walton Street. If anyone would like any of these contacts then please DM me and I will get back to you ASAP.

Yes I actually emailed them about this and inserted a screenshot of the shipping information from their webpage "free shipping for anything £100+U.K. standard delivery".
This is their reply:
"I do apologise but free shipping over £100 is for online Harrods.com orders and not for store/personal shopping orders."
I'm not sure if it's bcs it's my first time purchasing with them? So i'm still in their lowest reward tier?

Yes you can! I don’t think it’s ever guaranteed as I’ve never been asked to pay in advance, I’ve just been added to lists and they’ve always come through!

Update from my most recent remote experience at Chanel and first Chanel purchase at all since July last year!
I was (of course, like everyone!) after one of the pinks from the new collection (how beautiful are they! - I failed) but have ended up with a beautiful Beige Clair which I am soooooooo excited about!!! I'd kind of forgotten about it as I could never get one. However it is my first purchase of a classic since January 2019 - when I bought my reissue 227 in Jan 19 I was thinking about whether to get a medium classic flap instead which I think was then about 4k. I'm really regretting not buying it then!
I did think hmmm for 2k more I could get a Kelly... and then my DH said but you can't actually get a Kelly (ever the realist!!!) !
I had kind of gone off Chanel for a while but I loooooove the new collections and can feel the addiction starting again haha.
I reached out to the SA at Bond St who helped me with a purchase last year and he couldn't have been more helpful. Like others on here I also reached out to Harrods, with no response!
