I have drafted the email for Harrods personal shopper service several times but never actually sent it as I’m sceptical about he process. All Chanel just seems to be so unattainable right now. I don’t like the feeling of having to literally jump through hoops to buy something.

Sorry I don’t know but I’m trying to find out, if I get any updates I’ll share here because I want that baby too! So difficult to get anything in the UK right now !

So frustrating when I can’t even get response & the one or two times I did get someone’s response it was either they don’t have it or all gone. How do resellers get so many hard to find pieces? See pic attached , Aldo does chanel have one bag in 60 days policy in uk? Thank you

I’m starting to think said resellers are Chanel SA’s themselves who have a personal shopping/ resell business. Perhaps they ring fence the stock that comes in to the store they work at and advertise them on their PS pages and sell that way? Some resellers have their own contacts and SA’s I guess who they have good relationships with and score bags that way too.

unfortunately yes the 60 day policy is well and truly here in the UK.

I managed to buy a bag today via Harrods PS! I signed up on Wednesday evening and got an email today. At first they said they couldn't help because I don't have an account with a Chanel boutique as a first-time buyer, but I gave them my Harrods rewards number, and low and behold got a message on WhatsApp. I think you have to be super specific about what you want. I wasn't after a popular piece so maybe that helped too?

You tell them what you want and they send pics/videos if they have it. It think the PS have appointments with Chanel so sometimes they take a day or so to get back to you but should keep you informed throughout

Yeah or they line up like how we would. My first PS there lined up for 1.5 hours and was really annoyed. Understandably.

Wow! My PS implied there’s an appointment system so not sure if that’s new. They did mention that despite an appointment Chanel decided not to open one day! It really is more difficult than it should be...

Yup I can personally attest to this 60 day policy being in effect

In terms of a Chanel SA being PS ...I thought they were limited to what they were allowed by Chanel to buy? Or does that only relate to sale items.
