The YouTuber Maria Draganova talked about Chanel’s 60-day policy in the UK on her Instagram stories. Does anyone know if that's true? She said her SA found the bag she wants but she got rejected from buying it because she has already purchased a bag from another boutique within 60 days. She couldn't get a friend to buy it for her either because the friend will end up at the bottom of the “wishlist”. She spoke to a manager and she finally got the bag because she's recognised as a regular. Has anyone encountered a similar situation?

I watched it too, and the policy exists. It can be overridden only by a manager and they will view your buying history to see if you’re a loyal customer. Chanel HQ heavily monitor this buying policy. It’s 1 bag every 60 days and 2 slgs.

Unfortunately that’s the policy for some reason. I’ve always managed to get around it though when the SA asks their manager for approval.

Then I don't understand how the personal shoppers do their job...

It is likely they purchase under different accounts at different boutiques, shop with someone else or acquire different individuals to make purchases. Or they are very close to a particular SA/ Manager who is allowing them to purchase multiple bags.
