Hi! (i've also just posted this in the Chanel - UK thread, sorry!)
I'm on the hunt for my first Chanel purchase, preferably a rectangle mini bag or mini bag with top handle in black but I was shocked to learn last week how difficult it was to find one of these. I've been to Selfridges and Sloane St with no luck and can't seem to get through on the phone to Bond Street or Harrods.

Any tips please on how I can purchase one? Do they have stock coming in every week? Or is the best bet to wait for the new season? Thanks in advance xx

Waited an hour and 10 minutes at Selfridges when we went on a Thursday midday
20 minutes at Sloane.

I wasn’t aware that we were able to make appointments at Chanel stores in the UK?

The queue wasn’t bad (maybe 10-15mins) when I was there lunchtime Saturday and Sunday (Sloane street)

I do prefer Sloane St in general but never seem to find what i'm looking for in that particular Chanel boutique. I'll give bank holiday Monday a go!

I was told it launches in June and now that stores are open they won't take names for waitlists. I don't know how true that is but that's what I was told.

Is anyone still able to place orders remotely or that’s all gone now? I messaged an SA for an item and she replied asking if I’m able to visit the boutiques as they are quite busy now. Also any idea on the release date of 21a please? Thank you

I used to be able to order remotely during lockdown but now I can’t - when I messaged my SA they said now that stores open they cannot do remote sells so I have to go into store to purchase and they cannot hold any items which is such a pain

I heard it was around then too and they are not taking names ‘yet’ as no buy book. Not sure what is correct or which I prefer.
