So just an update lol I just got a response back from contacting Chanel directly only to be given a grossly useless response. Or are my expectations too high?

I had a terrible experience in person a few years ago at Sloane Street. Would not go back. Same with Harrods.

But was lucky to find the most amazing SA at the Walton Street store (I was sent his details by another forum user).

I purchased my first bag last year and he made the experience wonderful. I have also been able to buy two bags remotely this year and have them shipped from London to Northern Ireland without any issues!!

Does anyone know if any boutique in London (Harrods, Selfridges, Walton Street, Sloane Street etc.) is offering remote selling in this lockdown?

They are. I’ve been in touch with my SA in Walton Street at the end of last week. Was also able to purchase items remotely earlier in the year.

No yeah this was a totally useless response.

I've seen US buyers talk about live chat on the chanel app being great and being able to locate bags and preordered things this way.

Has anyone been able to do this in the UK? I don't think we can preorder but has anyone tried live chat and is it any good?
