Hi All
I just wanted to say that since this November ( when I first looked at getting my first Chanel piece)I have had nothing but amazing customer service from the Harrods ,Bond Street and Selfridges SA’s.
This has been through emails, WhatsApp and in store purchase .

Considering I’m new to chanel ( always been LV person) they have helped me get the mini rectangular in black 21C, the iridescent card holder and the rainbow reissue WOC from 20A.
Hope everyone is staying safe in London

Congratulations on your new items! I got my first piece, a card holder in December right after lockdown from Selfridges, it was a wonderful experience I felt like a VIP.

Will you be sharing photos of your new items?

I saw your post about Harrods not replying to emails but I’ve had no issues with Harrods SA replying to my emails and have been really helpful. It’s a shame they haven’t replied to you.

I agree that Selfridges were really good experience .

Oh yes I’ve not got my WOC as it was purchased the week of Xmas but have pictures that my SA sent me as she was wrapping it up .
This is my little family which I love and feel grateful to be able to get with everything going on.

I agree about Selfridges. I’ve yet to find one at Harrods (mostly because they don’t pick up the phone, or reply to emails and when I asked for a SA card on the 1st floor she told me they don’t do that- you just get who get :hrmm:)

I called the Sloane street store checking for stock of a bag, they had it and I asked if the SA could send me photos on WhatsApp since I couldn’t get to the store (just before we went into tier 4) and she said “we can’t send photos of items in the store” which I thought was quite bizarre considering Bond Street store does it with no issues. Anyone else heard this before? I wonder how they will sell during lockdown if they can’t send photos to buyers...

Other than that thought Sloane street store are very helpful at checking stock and telling you which stores have items.
I called Sloane Street recently as I couldn't get through to Harrods or Selfridges. I was after an SLG and a couple of pieces of costume jewellery. They had the jewellery in store but not the SLG but they said someone would take my details, ask for a transfer and call me back. The didn't want to take payment for the jewellery first. Guess what, nobody ever called me back, so I reached out to Bond Street a week later to get those pieces. I wasn't impressed with Sloane Street really, especially didn't understand why they didn't want to sell me the jewellery pieces first.

I am the least impressed with Chanel at Sloane in terms of customer service. It was the most judgement I received and The bag I bought was not perfect but because it was the last one in the U.K. I bought it. I haven’t shopped there since lol

I’ve never really had much luck with Sloane and I find the SA’s there quite cold. I have tried to phone the store many times in the past and I am lucky if they pick up. I some how managed to get a contact there and they were short with me when I enquired about a necklace. They obviously just don’t want your money, I’d rather spend elsewhere. The best service is Selfridges for sure. My SA there goes above and beyond to source me difficult to find pieces. Harrods is hit and miss, the SA’s tend to check customer buying records so they will only pursue customers that they know will choose to come back and shop at Harrods.

Oh wow, seems like Chanel needs to do a deep retraining for their employees in the stand alone boutiques (and Harrods) lol.

How bizarre that they don’t care about customer service or making sales- don’t they have sales targets to meet? Lol
