Bond street! Followed by Selfridges!

Get what you want most at the city stores, do the paper work for the VAT refund, and spend the refund at Chanel duty free!

Duty free can hold an item for a short period (like 48 hours? I forget) it's best to just enjoy shopping in the city and make sure you get the item(s) you want. Heathrow doesn't carry classics anyway.

You save a good amount of money even with the recent increase and potential duties coming home.

BOND STREET!! I was there right before the price increase last month as well! I got a m/l CF for just under $3900 ($5300ish in US with taxes). That store was huge and lovely. It's also right across the street from a great LV as well.

I was in London about a month ago---loved the Bond Street flagship Chanel store and Selfridges.

Thank you all so much, I can't wait to see what she can find there -and at such great prices :) :) :)

So, if you can find what you want at Heathrow, is it cheaper than getting the same item in London or Europe?
Heathrow is cheaper than London -as long as you're flying out of EU i.e to US, Australia

re Heathrow v Europe. It would depend on the strength of the pound and euro when you go.I'll let others chime in

Hi,

I was in London when the collection launched a few weeks ago and it seemed like emerald green sold out a few hours after release. I wasn’t enquiring after the green mini though, but generally I saw very little of the colour in store. I’m sorry, good luck in your search!

I was in Harrods today and saw a classic woc in emerald green, but for the classic flaps the SA told me to try sloane street. I didn't go there, but I think you can call and see if they still have it

This will be my first time shopping for Chanel bags in London and I was wondering how strictly they enforce their one bag/one passport rule here.

Do they enforce this rule nowadays and if so, does it only apply to classics and coveted seasonal bags or all bags? Also if I buy a bag from a Chanel boutique, would it be possible to buy again from say, Chanel in Harrods in the same trip? Any advice appreciated! TIA!
