I replied to your post in the UK Chanel Club thread but I'll respond here also just in case you don't see it there. I was at the New Bond Street boutique very recently and they were in stock. New Bond Street does sell out of the classics towards the end of the day but my SA informed me that they get a new delivery every morning that includes classics. I hope that helps.

It's pathetic isn't it. I've found that Chanel Selfridges London customer service is awful.

I was in the Chanel Boutique along Bond Street a few days ago and the SA told me that they do not have any classics at the moment. The only bag that is similar to that is a seasonal flap (the one with that is bi-color like black and dark red - I didn't get a good look at it since I wasn't interested).

Selfridges got back to me just now that they don't have any classic since they are launching the new season collection. :nogood:

Anyone can recommend a nice SA to me? Please PM me because I'm desperately trying to find a jumbo!

Fingers crossed! I'll be buying the bag in either late July or 1 or 2 August. I hope they will have big arrival of classic coming in August.

Feeling want to cry if I can't get it this time - I've been working very hard this year and so looking forward to this treat. *fingers crossed*

I'm really surprised by this. I've been to New Bond a few times recently and they have always had good stock of classics. I looked at a medium, large, jumbo and bought a GST. A SA told me that they do have less stock of the ghw than shw but that they receive new stock of classics each day. I haven't been this week, perhaps they are having a problem with stock. I will hopefully be in London next week so I shall check if I can.

It might not be possible for you to get to but Selfridges in Manchester usually have the classics in stock, I've never known them to be out of stock.

nattle I will PM you the name of a SA at New Bond that is lovely and was very helpful to me.

They can reserve for you for 24 hours and you pay and pick it up in the store.

I asked them if I can pay in advance over the phone and pick up the bag a month later but they said they can't do it.
