Hi all !

I'm trying to get a GST during my vacation in London. However, I'd like to know the total price difference between buying from a store in London VS the Chanel store at Heathrow Airport.

I know that the retail price of a GST is at around 1600 GBP and 1333 GBP at the airport. However, I don't know how much I would get back from the VAT refund. Is it straight 15% from the retail price? Can someone let me know?

Just trying to figure out where I should pick up the bag if both places have the color that I want.

Usually u get only 10% back as vat refund becoz they charge some sort of processing fee. Best price is at heathrow but selection is limited. You can call heathrow ahead to check their inventory. Good luck!!

The hotel I'm staying in London told me that Classic Jumbo in Black is totally out of stock in London! OMG although still 3 weeks to go until I'm in London but getting quite panic now. I only go to Europe once a year so I am very looking forward to getting the bag in London this time.

Has anyone seen or bought Classic Jumbo in London boutiques past weeks? Which one still have jumbo?!

Omg, I will be there in 4 weeks time !!! You can try your luck by sending them an email & see if they can transfer one in for u !!! I was in France 2 weeks ago & the SA from Nice was about to do so for my halfmoon WOC !!! Good luck ;)

I was there last week. I saw at least two black CF in selfridges store. The SA kinda hid them from other customers when she showed a lady the bags. but I was sitting there buying sth, so she couldn't hide it from me lol. I just can't understand why SAs do this tho. I saw a girl try on a black le boy two minutes ago and then when I asked whether they have a black le boy in stock the other SA said nothing for today and maybe one in the back. And she showed me exactly the same bag the girl tried on two minutes ago!

Could you call different boutiques and see if they are in stock? Maybe you could also ask about a recommended SA in London? That way, they can help you more than an average SA who doesn't know you?
