I contacted a SA in Harrods more than 6 months ago re. a square mini in either black or grey. She said it's a wish list item and she would have to pass my name to another colleague to join the wish list. I haven't heard anything and my SA doesn't have an idea as someone else looks after the wish list? She is also refusing to give me the contact of that person.

My friend is also on the wish list for a different bag but she already got hers.

Not sure if this wish list system for “htf” bags e.g., mini bags even exists. All you need to do is find an SA and if they offer you their contact details let them know what you’re looking for and you should get your mini, at least in a black square given it’s almost always part of each season, soon enough. Stock is best 1 week after a new launch so ideally to let your SA know c.1-2 weeks before launch and it shouldn’t be a problem. For one of my minis I purchased it c.2 weeks after asking. Good luck!

I also considered the caramel mini with top handle but wasn’t in love with it. The blue WOC was also a colour that pulled slightly too purple for me. Overall it was disappointing because I didn’t buy anything albeit it was good for my bank account :lol:;)

Aww that’s a shame! It sounds like stock was good though, or did you have to reserve the mini and WOC to look at it?

Hi everyone I was wondering if someone could please clarify the position on buying Chanel in London / the UK. I’ve been out of the loop for a year and it seems there are new rules in place. I’ve heard that in order to get any classic bags (flaps, minis and also does that include C19s and boy bags?) you need to visit the store in person during launch week, no phone orders and no holds. They don’t allow shipping / remote orders on any classics. There is also the limit of 2 classic bags a year. Is this correct???

Hi, I got my black mini in London Harrods, and I had to visit the store in person, so no phone orders and no holds! The manchester store told me I could only purchase a bag every 2 months, so I’m not too sure about the limit of 2 classic bags a year. Hope you get what you’re after! X

Thanks so much Hannah for your reply! I know the “only one bag every 2 months” definitely exists, annoyingly. Please can I ask - when you purchased your mini was it within a week of a new release, or was it the black mini that is part of the permanent collection?

Yes uk rules atm are 1 bag every 60 days and 2 classics per year.
