Right after I posted this I got an email response from Chanel at harrods! I sent them an email 2 weeks ago and didn’t hear back. Then I sent a follow up this morning and I received an automated email asking me to contact them at
https://services.chanel.com/en_GB/contact.
I didn’t bother. But a few hours later someone from Chanel at harrods responded to let me know the item is available. I think since I’m ordering shoes it was easier to connect with the store?

They no longer offer a VAT refund. Depending on the item and tax in your US state, it might not make sense to purchase in the UK. I’d do some research before travel and look at the currency exchange rates too. I purchased a bag last year in London when the pound was down significantly and saved a few hundred dollars thanks to the currency exchange difference but that was it (although it was a bag that was highly sought after here so I guess it was a win on that front too).

Hey. I went today to the London boutique. I wasn’t invited by my SA as she has left Chanel! However I visited later in the evening. They didn’t have much in stock in terms of shoes. Was disappointed. How was everyone else experience in the UK?

I went in at 10am and I thought the stock was good but not huge like in the past.
I got a dress from 22C and a bikini from Coco Beach last year.
Shoe selection was limited and small sizes.
Overall I was pleased!
