What do you ladies think of the Maxi flap? Is it out of style or still part of the classic?
I have a maxi lambskin single flap and I'm undecided if I should keep or part with it.

I love my maxi flap, I don't use it too much but will never sell, have you seen the new prices?
I bought mine around 2011 for like 3500, what if you regret and want to buy back, it will cost three times more.

^^^^^ 1000% that is why I just invested in two jumbos because of this very reason! I love the size anyway but just the significance of the price jump of the jumbo makes it a much for difficult bag to obtain price wise in the future. Even pre-loved sites for jumbos right now in very good condition are in the $6k range.
Agree! It's actually reasonably priced right now if anyone is looking to score pre-loved jumbos. That's also why I can't wrap my head around paying more for minis than I originally paid for my Jumbo in Paris.

Still loving my precious quint jumbo in lambskin gold hardware! How precious can it get! Always reminding me of my first ever trip to Paris & Rue Cambon itself  :yucky: :flowers:

I like how you wore it on the first pic. Never seen this beforr. I have a short torso and am 5’3”so probably would work for me. I have two jumbos! Thanks for the idea.

I started with a WOC (old design), never thought I would be interested in a classic flap particularly the jumbo size and I never thought I would be interested in preloved. After having quite a few in different sizes, colors, leather all bought new, I got to appreciate them and know them better. Just added a WOC with new design and my very first 10 year old jumbo black lambskin gold hardware double flap. My two cents. Big bags are definitely coming back. However, the fact that I cherish and love the WOC and Jumbo now is because WOC new design so practical and comfortable to use, with same things to carry as a small classic flap and it's so versatile. Jumbo, preloved, is very light weight in lambskin. The bag itself has about the same weight of the chains which is the heavy part I guess. The sole reason I got it preloved is that I could not find a better quality one new, both in terms of leather and craftsmanship. All the sewing is impeccable; chain has no raw edges like new ones. Lambskin is divine, shiny and puffy like new from boutique. It simply ages beautifully. IMG_5451.jpgI think whoever has owned an older bag would understand what I appreciate.
